Topic: Attack options

I don't want to suggest big changes, only small things to give attackers more possibilities.

- Make it possible to change cords of a moving fleet:

The travel time to the new cords won't be the travel time from your portal to that planet but the location of your fleet to that planet.

- Make it possible to send a fleet to an unexplored planet and station it when explored:

Should make it possibly to get shares much easier or to defend them better at least.

- don't automatically recall/station a fleet after an attack:

Make it possible to decide what you can do with the fleet. For example; hover/move to a second planet in that system/station

Might have some more things bumping up later but these are the once i could think of right now. I have the feeling that a lot of you won't like this idea as it will change a big part of the way an attacker plays but in my opinion it only adds more fighting to the game.

I was reading opinions about what people are playing nowadays (in the new players topic) and one solution i could think of is to make this game more aggressive. If you can take an entire system in 1 tick because you broke fleet then this will motivate people to put time and effort into being online to get there fleet wherever needed. Now it takes some more time to get the same effect.

( I personally am happy with the way it works now, just brainstorming here. More aggressive game play = more fun? )

All feedback is welcome but please be constructive. wink

These would be cool changes for Attackers, but would kind of suck for everyone else.

Re: Attack options

I don't want to suggest big changes, only small things to give attackers more possibilities.

- Make it possible to change cords of a moving fleet:

The travel time to the new cords won't be the travel time from your portal to that planet but the location of your fleet to that planet.

=> something similar allready been done before, it was called the fleet movement option. It created a opportunity to attack everything in that system, even under the (now sadly gone!) 40% or 35% NW rule. It gave superpowers to attackers and was rightfully removed short after. It will probably be abused again with the morale overhaul.

- Make it possible to send a fleet to an unexplored planet and station it when explored:

Should make it possibly to get shares much easier or to defend them better at least.

=> When i first read it i would like it.. but again it would overpower players with lots of fleet

- don't automatically recall/station a fleet after an attack:

Make it possible to decide what you can do with the fleet. For example; hover/move to a second planet in that system/station

=> When you click attack, you might as well click the recall button or move the fleet to a new location..
