> Cool they take maps you create, thats actually an awesome feature, so if you create a good enough map it could be played by thousands of people, sounds good to me, well better than the map you spent ages making sat on your PC doing nothing, and it gives loads of options for players to build maps they like (ie huge wars, mini skirmish maps, deffended position maps) I dont see a problem with that. <
I do see a problem with it: It's "legally" THEIR map, you don't get credit for it. I for one would never make a map under those circumstances, there would be no point.
> Also Blizzard is by far one of the best game makers going, so you know when Blizzard make a game they will have a team of people sat on it and making changes, think its a bit early to blow a game out of the water before its even been released to everyone, give it a few months to iron out any glitches and listen to player feeback. <
They can't fix what the players want fixed in the time they have left, neither can they fix what needs fixing, and I don't think they want to.
EG: I can't afford to connect to the internet just to play a LAN, I don't want to connect to the internet just to play a LAN, which means I won't buy it just like I won't buy games that force me to connect to the internet when all I want is some Single Player action.
I don't care if there's a "good" reason for it (yet to hear one) it's alienating people without internet.
> I mean Blizzard are only one of the most well known and most sucsessful gaming companies on the planet, they deff have the power to change rubbish parts of any game, just like they do with WOW on a regular occasion. <
Yeah, but they don't have the time or the inclination: These are OLD concerns, and the game is about to be released.

Unless you like the way this is going (and PC game releases in general) I suggest you make a point and not buy Starcraft 2.
....
I remember when they announced seperate campaigns... I could have lived with the seperate campaigns if the rest of it was still Starcraft, but it ain't... PC gaming is about community and fun, not looking hard in front of your mates; THATS WHAT CONSOLES ARE FOR X(
