How about a round where you can only use your in-game nick
No hiding who u are,
your out in the open for all to see!

I think this will help the game to some degree as well. 
Grudges will be avenged, or new ones are made, new alliances and friendships could be forged honestly. I think it will open up more dialogue with in the community, either good or bad when it comes to the game play of those within the game.

Ppl would be able to kudos those that deserve,
Or if you play like a dick, ppl know who you are

game dose not return funds on pre-builds if you change your mind and cancel your order before game start.

Well it seems you do care what I think, you keep posting replies.
As for your being farmed early in the game, you still had a chance to grow with exploring etc.
So this what, revenge for your family being attacked at the first week or so of the round, and losing some planets, so let's just ruin some other families round, and taking everything they have. Even if it means blowing up their planets

Yup mentally like that is the right thing for the game

As for the rest of your comment really, your going to compare yourself to them.
Those that took a few planets to solidify there core, compared to your family that just out to ruin a family's game.

So you expoed into their core at the beginning of the round, and they cleared a planet or 2, and this gives your family the right to ruin a round for another.  Yup great game play there, dam we need another 100 players just like you. Just imagine how great the game would be, oh one minute we did, and look where the game is at.

Is the nw% broken or is it only set up for player to player attacks
I noticed in uni-news that family #44 is still taking planets from the bottom family #45

How is this even possible.  Even if the have a war tag. That only takes it down to 25% nw for attacks, and they are well above that %.

They have 63 planets, so why do they keep attacking them. How is this possible, and how many of them did we lose for future rounds. 



Let the farmers explain why they ruined a round for another family.

Why do you ppl thinks this sort of behaviour is good for the game!

At one time we have a great community of players, then planetarion decided to kill off the ppl who were hurting there game, and what happened. A lot of them moved over to IC, continued to play the same way that got them kicked from one game already, but instead of nipping this problem in the butt, you continued to coddle them. And for yrs you let it continue to happen, and guess what we lost a 100's of ppl. to the game.
Everyone else was wrong, they are just whiners, they don't know how to play. They don't know what there talking about, they don't hurt the game, their helping it.  Yup helped us right to this point in time

Not this was not the main reason for the down fall of this game, but it's #1 with a bullet.

But its game play like this that kills games, or just ends up with the same ppl play every round, sounds like where we are at today

First issue I see

  • Systems: 260 (previously was 355)

  • Families: 50 (previously was 40)

  • Max Defense Stations: 3 (previously was 2)

5.2 systems per player on avarage of which 3 will have a DS. Seems a bit overkill to have over half of the galaxy with a DS, after 1 week....

I agree with you on the system side as well. Too small. That's an average of 82.5 planets per person.
But then again, hopefully it will generate more fighting

Families keep it at 50, but keep an eye on bottom ppl to see if they are active. If not kick from game to let those that were not able to join, join! After all we know some of those empires were just multiple accounts.  Trying to get good map position

DS.  I like the 3 DS, after all there are no core's, your not even safe in your home system. Looks like only on your HW is safe, but then again that's only on fleet attacks

Question? Are you able to build another DS, if one gets destroyed!

Attack limit 50% NW
(No drop in % when war has been declared.)
(The attack NW % is calculated with size of the whole family, not just the attackers)
(% do not come into effect when expoing into claimed system)

No Naps

No IA 
( hard to implement, but worth the try, I'd say on the honour system, but we all know that's a shot in the dark )

No sharing of systems  [ as I brought up in Milky Way 55 ]
( you want the system you fight for the system )

Galaxy size : 100x100
( this gives ppl alittle more time to set up there family, and breathing room to plan campaign)

Would you be able to code I'm an AI GALACTIC RAIDER RACE

Run it something along the line that it steals a % of you resources, or attacks a planets destroying infra, or blowing the planet
Would it also be possible to have it join in on attacks, either for the attacker or defender, depending the mood their in!

Ppl have already been going inactive, why continue to play, when all your doing is for not, or to be farmed by family's you can't defend from, or have the planets blow up, and lose all infrastructure anyway.

The attack % should be jumped to 75%, and should take in the size of the whole family, not just the attacking players size in said family.

After all, we all know the smaller families were the ones who didn't get setup at the start due to inactivity from those in it because they didn't land in a family they wanted, or waited for others to take the lead, or for REASONS of being a multiple account

We can point fingers at this or that, but what it boils down to is we're limping along the edge of the black hole, just waiting to be sucked in. Unless you up your game in the attacking %, and truly make it a military strategy base game.

Also would you be able to make it so there are no shared systems.

No 2 family's can share the same system by exploring into it, but to do so would trigger an automatic war response from the family first in there, and must be dealt with within 24hr time period
Or the first family will lose their planet in that system, giving it up to the 2nd

What is protection mode?
Protection mode is a feature which prevents empires from being completely wiped out by enemy forces. The benefit of protection mode is that whilst in it, no attacks or hostile operations can be made towards your empire (this only counts for planets which have been owned for longer than 48 hours). Your empire will enter protection mode if you lose 50% of your planets (of which you have owned for longer than 48 hours) within a 24 hour period. Any planets lost which were explored or attacked in the last 48 hours will not be eligible for protection
Protection mode lasts for 48 hours. However, before this time performing any of the following WILL also take your empire out of protection:
- Attacks on anyone (i.e. sending a fleet)
- Performing special operations
- Exploration

Note: Protection mode takes effect after the required amount of planets are taken.

Note 2: In King Of The Hill (KOTH) galaxies protection mode will not apply to hill systems.



And by doing it your way, would it not be misused by some!

Why not change the % from 50 to 30

And by placing your self in P-mode, should you not be penalized for this move.
Say you put your self in this 10hr p-mode,
but your infrastructure shuts down for those same 10hrs.
Nor are you able to send or receive any aid for the same amount of time

Or how about you can only do it once per round
Or one per family

Myself I don't like the idea, but with the implemented of one of the above, I could come to live with it!

Most time fb is a banker, and all u have to do is op/spell or infil, and you'd know. If you tag just one player, bank just moves anyway

i don't think that you figured in the increase cost of a new DS every time you buy one, as well as the fact the cost goes up as the family grows as well.
Add on that you could be under attack by another family, so now your resources are going to that, etc etc. 

I really can't see more than 10-12

So this in it's self would detur larger family's from farming the smaller ones.   Giving the atleast some sort of hope in the round

If you can afford them, why not build them!
I think they would help the smaller families from being farmed too hard as well. Just don't rely on them to kill everyone, it's only a % that it takes out
You buy them early enough, and they are cheap

Once again you are missing mine, and others point.
Yes I have looked at the announcement on the December game
It does say that IA's are allowed.
But again it does not say that the rule book was thrown out the window for said round, nor any other round

You post the rules for the game, you expect ppl to read them and abide by them. If they are wrong then by all means close that page, state that rules and regs are coming soon.

But to  change the rules in the middle of the game is wrong.  Special since you have banned others for what they did in chat, ( don't get me wrong, it was deserved on the one topic) but here is someone breaking the same rule you in forced in others, yet it seems that him/her being a mod rates above the rest.

But you allowed IA's this round, you gave permission for all to IA.  What you didn't do was suspended all the rules of the game.

So what if he is the only person in his family, sux to be him/Her, but we all knew coming into this round this was going to happen

But to change the rules to fit the crime is not a very good confidence booster.

He broke the rules, now just because he/she is a mod you change the rules

No I think you're wrong undeath that falls under the communication rule

Do not distribute or discuss personal or private information about other players without their consent. This includes real life information as well as private information about other players' empires, with the exception of sharing information within your own family (team).

Which you clearly broke, and should have known better.
