Have you always had to import your doctors?
Which reminds me, I get the same shitty service at watering holes when I tip $10 bills + a few ones a good number of times even on cheap evenings. I want to be nice -- okay, let's be honest, I want to ensure that I always look good -- but it seems that most bartenders aren't bright enough to notice one's high tipping or decent enough to not suck even if they do anyway. What I'm saying is, if they're not even productive enough to work for my $20 tip when I'm only spending $50, can you imagine how horrible their service would be if their income was based upon my earnings, not the service they provide for me!? Oh, I get a headache just thinking about it. And it causes crime. I'm 15% more likely to strike a bartender tonight because of wealth distribution. Ask my bartenders if that benefits them!
is not a human being
You're right. It's only people's lives. You judge some as not very valuable, so who cares if the inferior care you propose kills them. You have the right to decide, after all!
Everything is free. Tax rate: 100%.

I was waiting to post a joke about the ridiculousness of the thread, the fact that WFS has not returned to it, and the connection between the two being that WFS was absolutely trashed. ![]()
>>As for AIDS victims being scum? IN America there are cases of infected blood transfusions etc In Africa babies are being born with the illness, describing these people as filth seems misguided at best.<<
Medical errors are a minority of infections. Obviously I did not mean that I literally do not care about AIDS victims. I was merely pointing out that, while my heart goes out to victims of medical errors and those born with the disease to trashy parents, the root cause of the spread of the disease is trashy behavior and I don't care in the least about the majority of its victims. Little over your head, at best. Sorry. There it is all explained out for you.
>>however if you have a complication in surgery during pregnancy you are not then charged an extra $135,000 as happened to my american friend in the states- Now she has to choose between paying bills or feeding her baby.<<
Tell her to read her insurance policy next time and not buy a bad one. It's not that hard. I read mine. Had more than $1,000,000 in medical work and didn't pay an extra dime. Boo hoo your irresponsible friend got what she bought. Makes me so sad that she could possibly be responsible to run her own life. Your solution to her buying a crappy policy is to force me to pay more for lower quality care. Sorry, I don't like what you're selling. Most people don't. It's so bad you need government to force it on people.
>>For other nations the problem is caused by a lack of specialist etc, not so much the system itself.<<
Presuming, of course, that the system doesn't cause the shortage. And there's no evidence of that. Nor logic to explain how it happens. Err, I mean does't happen. Oops.
doesn't appreciate a good slapping
1% US AIDS rate? I can't find a figure estimating over .3% Seems high to me. But I guess I don't associate with the types of filth that get AIDS and other STDs.
Personally, I like deadly STDs. Oh my gawd it kills whores! I don't care!
Now to wait for the trolls. They'll pretend socialized healthcare is "free." They'll ignore the fact that long wait times kill people. They'll pretend that they somehow have access to the latest medical technology when their hospitals have no financial means to purchase it. They'll pretend that all of the latest life-saving procedures and treatments are approved and covered for cancer and other disease care, no matter the age of the patient. It's no secret that many treatments are not approved, not covered under any universal coverage. But somehow troll supporters of single-payer coverage repeatedly make this claim that nobody else would make or believe.
It is within the power of the US government to cheapen the price of our oil significantly. But they derive more power from arguing that there is a need to reduce CO2 emissions, so our standard of living comes in second to their thirst for power. After all, they're rich enough that it won't hurt them if our standard of living is cut in half. Hell, if us serfs are willing to work for less, desperate for work, it'll be a bonus.
>>By removing my arguement for poverty not being the only cause for crime<<
...What? Are we 5? You had to state that there are more influences on crime rates than poverty? And 2+2 is 4. And water is wet.
>>you yourself created the simplistic view that crime is a direct consequence of poverty.<<
Not only did I never advocate such a position, but it was you operating under this assumption in claiming that welfare reduces crime, which I argued against.
I've stated about 5 times now that I was taking issue with your claim regarding welfare and crime, not poverty and crime.
Because Primo objects to honesty, here's the embarrassing continuation of a ridiculous exchange in which complete nonsense will be offered in response, evidence that the post was not actually read by anyone objecting to its contents (at least not comprehended. I'm using English here, if that clears up any confusion):
>>oh and btw, if you had not yet noticed, your source is only about youth crime, not about crime in total. <<
I already pointed out that it was just one of an overwhelming number articles easily obtained if you took the time to so much as google the subject. There are a wealth of similarly supportive articles, most of which remark on total crime, not youth crime. There is still value in youth crime (though I cited it not for this or any particular reason, merely as an example of the multitude of support for my claim and against yours), as such is an investigation of those who begin lives of crime. If you want to investigate the effects of a new phenomenon there are advantages to examining the effects of the phenomenon on those who have not previously had the opportunity to become criminals before the phenomenon and skew the numbers. Or didn't you notice what I posted?
>>even if that view i gave you is simplistic (i myself gave explanations for why it wouldn't be like that), you chose to say i was wrong when i gave an arguement against that view<<
You seem confused. I quoted you directly and expressed objection to your claim that welfare reduces crime. Are you saying you claimed that welfare both increases and reduces crime rates?
>> so in fact you yourself created that simplistic view by not giving any other arguements for why that view is wrong, which is something i actually tried to do.<<
As previously stated twice, I objected to your claim that welfare reduces crime. You maintain the position that massive welfare (aka wealth redistribution) reduces crime but repeatedly reference where you supposedly tried to give arguments why you're wrong...? Why would I care? You can suggest all the reasons to doubt your arguments while not responding to the arguments against you and still nobody will care.

That they haven't managed to cut your costs in ways which you find objectionable yet isn't a sign that their spending is sustainable. It's just a sign that it's so unsustainable that no measures to correct it can be passed without unrest.
But it will hold a press conference in which it states that it helped you, and that your statements otherwise are partisan propaganda.
What Mr. Balsz said is accurate. If you disagree with him, you are wrong.

(AP news story, I just linked to it on FOX's site because that site has it on one page)
It's the same old story. They say it'll actually help their economies to do all of these things. But it doesn't.
Like it says in the article, they started cutting government payrolls first because they were the least politically explosive; but those cuts weren't nearly significant enough to balance their budgets. Massive deficit spending is not sustainable. Shocking realization yet to come to some.

>>aka wealth distribution (which would reduce the amount of poor people i'd say) would help against crime, so in that way wealth distribution improves our living standards. which brings us back to: wealth distribution benefits all.<<
That's a rather simplistic view. Are there low crime rates among those on welfare?

I'd go on, but anyone who wants to learn can google something like "welfare crime rate" and get a wealth of responses. I'm not going to spend more time learning more about the obvious because someone else chooses to be ignorant.
You don't seem so much confused as much as completely wrong, with an absolutely backward idea in your head that produces the opposite of what you feel like it should. The world doesn't care what you feel like it should anything.

The statistics of the UK, Australia, cities and states in the USA all agree that you are wrong. Your feelings don't count as a statistic. Sorry.
