"I found it interesting the book that is being released about him that says he died a few years ago and only doubles are being shown right now."

Sounds very conspiracy theory-ish to me. Are you sure it's not fiction? If Kim Jong Il dies, a replacement will be ready..

Yes, kernelwise. Vista is rap, I agree. But that's far more than the kernel. ReactOS tries to achieve compatibility with the vista kernel (so you can run vista-designed programs, including DirectX 10) but without all the junk, errors and annoyances wink

"Try doing it without any guns or ammunition of any kind."

The coppers are allowed to carry guns, but I don't think a wild bunch of civilian vigilante cowboys should have them. You made a silly remark and you know it wink

"Yes we can, but it's accuracy is crap, range is crap, and effects vary shot to shot."

One could think the accuracy is pretty good when you're able to make 2 protons het eachother...

the LHC is only perceived as a doomsday device by those who hardly understand anything about it.
The mayans did not see that date as the end of the world, but as the end of an era wich would give birth to a new era.

But to be short: predictions of any kind don't exist. As Abe Lincoln wisely said: "You can fool some people all the time and all the people some times, but you can never fool all the people all the time."
The world is about to end for at least 3000 years now, and we're still around, I have faith that mankind will be around for at least another few decades smile

"I have a great way for solving the war on drugs, but no one is willing to be ruthless like me. The solution is to simply eliminate the demand for drugs."

Oh, why didn't they think of that before? Maybe they should try to make video clips to warn people for the downsides of drugs! tongue

Extacy is an amphetamine, and those are not bad at all when used in small amounts. A similar product is "rilatine", wich is used by people (mostly kids) that have a concentration-disturbance. They use it on a daily base, and no real harm is done when they use it in the prescribed dose.

"Good luck destroying our black market."

A black market can be shrinked to a minimum, but that requires effort. Giving everyone guns is not an alternative wink

It's very typical that some of the people above me stress the point that they're American. This is just a remark, nothing more..

Anyhow, I suppose you can call me a Marxist, democratic socialist, pro-Belgian rather than pro-flemish and atheist. I'm starting my master in History this year.
I have great problems with blind trust in God and people who express elaborate political views without having a clue what they're talking about..

I tried many OSes in the past, I ran OS/2, Windows and Red Hat Linux (for a little while). To be honest, I liked OS/2 the most, but that's a dead end now, so I stick with the windows branch. Take a look at ReactOS, it's an OS in progress, but it's very promising and they're doing a great job! When it's finished it'll be a lightweight windows lik OS that's 100% compatible with Vista (without the restrictive things and the huge resource demand)..

Flint, this thread has no point beyond your personal taste of posters, and that's both irrelevant and trolling. Also, your post is not even neutral, as you clearly tie leftist with inferiority. Therefor, I'm closing this thread. Call me a forum mod troll all you like, but I noticed that's how you consider all your opponents here that attack your conclusions when they're based on nothing at all.

"Grandfather supported Hitler". Mine did too.. So what? Perhaps it's different with you, but we can't really choose who our family are. The man could never really admit he was wrong and could not face the evidence of the holocaust. You know I'm quite the opposite of a fascist, but even I can understand why it happened. Nothing happens without a context, and you should take that into account, Flintsy..

And for ZoZ's post, it seems quite correct to me Flint, if you have any remarks you know where to find me wink

lol Flint, you're not thinking rationally. All those things aren't facts, they are the tale the lady has told. However, she probably doesn't have any reason to lie, it's only the foundation of jurisdiction to find out how things went and to exclude all hypotheses.

Nothing more, nothing less. If you don't like that, move to Afghanistan!
