I would sentence her to death for being too stupid to be left alive.
She's dumb enough to walk on a highway into traffic, but she's proposing that a google warning of "don't walk into traffic on a highway you dumbass" would have prevented this. I doubt this proposition.

Free Gaza is a political organization. Nobody can substantiate the claim that this assault on Israel's sovereignty was a humanitarian effort. Many have substantiated the claim that these boating enthusiasts were sent with clear political motivations by groups known to fund terrorism.
Crying about Truman and American dominance wasn't the topic of this thread. But it's obviously on a lot of minds. Why are so many ignoring the topic of this thread, posting only BS about it when they do? If you cannot address the facts, maybe you have nothing to contribute. It's really awkward seeing posts that have nothing to do with the topic of the thread but are rants against Israel's existence, Truman (okay, most of them are too ignorant to know the history of Israel's creation), and America. Why post those rants here, on a thread regarding a specific event? Can't you articulate your hatred of Israel in a thread of your own? We'd love to see your enlightened, educated, and humanitarian thoughts on how you would like to see Israel eliminated from the globe. Surely you can post your position clearly outside of a thread in which your opinion of Israel's existence is not relevant.

Generally when one is "down" one does not desire to deliver deadly force. I've never stopped hitting a guy because he was "down" while he murdered my buddies. That wouldn't make any sense.

So Israel is 100% to blame for blockades in the interest of their security, and those who murder Israeli civilians are legitimate protesters whose protests just happen to take the form of civilian murder, which we cannot deplore. That's what you guys are arguing.
While I haven't supported all of Israel's actions over the years, to blame them for 100% of violence when Gaza is run by a murderous mob that terrifies its own people more than it does Israelis just seems a little ignorant to me.

There have been aggressors since before there have been currencies. There are aggressors today all over the globe. Subjugation of productive peoples always has return. It always will. I swear you're just trolling me with these questions.

The point being that of course they will. And there is no mechanism for defense from said tyranny. They may overreach their voluntary authority in order to create a buffer zone. They may overreach it in the interests of those in charge (of the security agency or those directing them) who have the ability to abuse it. Humanity has certainly proven that people will abuse what they can to benefit themselves.

Nobody here would bicker about international waters if their navy thwarted invaders where it was tactically practical. Nobody disputes that the intention of the boating enthusiasts was to violate Israel's law inside Israel. Newsflash: Turkey doesn't have a right to do that.
The silly thing about this thread is that we're discussing peace prospects with people who agree with much of the Arab world that Israel shouldn't exist. They will speak of real peace then talk about Israel being in the wrong 100% of the time, giving no attention to what acts provoke Israel to defend itself. It's silly to bring up facts and history. You just repeatedly get the same faulty analogies in response. Israel is bad and murderous, so obviously rocket attacks and violating their sovereignty is okay.

Israel didn't create Israel, just as Israel didn't force the people who had land taken from them to side with the losers in conflict. You failed to address the rocket attacks and the fact that not inspecting cargo results in arms transport and dead Israeli civilians. Maybe you don't care when Palestinians kill Israelis with rockets, but if you don't say that in response and just post the same incomplete responses, you're only hurting yourself. You're trying to make the argument that Israel is imposing control over Palestinians, when Israel has even tried to lift the ban and not inspect: only to be fired upon by more rockets. Your argument only holds water when you completely ignore facts in evidence, which is what you're doing.
No regard (or even mention) of the facts surrounding Israel's creation. No regard for the rocket attacks motivating the embargo.
Would you prefer they fight rockets with rockets, not an embargo? It seems they're doing the humanitarian thing. They're easily capable of destroying the threat to them, yet they choose to motivate Palestinians to not give control to a terrorist group who oppresses them as well as attacks Israel. You would argue that it's the Palestinians' job to remove Hamas, right? You certainly aren't supporting Israel doing it themselves.

Would you defend America if its President and Congress openly declared that your country had no right to exist? Would you defend America if it fired rockets into your country as often as it could obtain them? Would you support no action to try to stop America from attacking you? What would you support?
I am an American and I have Muslim friends. They're good people just like me, and they love life, and they like to make business. Many of them work very, very hard. Sometimes they try to hook me up with women from their home countries (most recently Turkey). I must not be one of those ignorant people who dumbed it down. But I would like to correct you on one point: You said America "had a war," but America is still at war.
We don't have any problem with Muslims. But anyone who wants to kill American civilians because Americans put their boots on their soil, yeah: we're okay with killing all of them.
The Berlin wall fell when East Germany was no longer a communist hellhole. It didn't fall because the West conceded to communist demands. It certainly wouldn't have fallen because of rockets fired from the east side. Maybe you could take a trip and inform Palestinians of this lesson from history.
All of the condemnations are coming from nations that would have done the same, though they would probably have been less professional and killed more of the invaders.
Turkish were on board because it was a media event, and their presence was part of the show. They didn't waste time in their response of manufactured outrage.
The boating enthusiasts voiced fears that, if they docked and had their cargo inspected, Israel would not allow the supplies to be trucked into Gaza. But I'm seeing stories of Israel allowing such supplies into Gaza (Dichter: Israel to allow aid supplies, food into Gaza [http://www.haaretz.com/news/dichter-israel-to-allow-aid-supplies-food-into-gaza-1.223188]) and no stories about Israel hijacking said supplies.
Israel allowed humanitarian aid and was attacked with rockets. Palestinians use such means of transportation to transport rockets, and they can foresee such means of transportation being revoked. Perhaps humanitarian concerns should be aimed at Palestinian rocket fire at Israel which has prompted the closed crossings. Maybe they could acknowledge that rockets kill people, and killing people is bad. Can't they commit to such a statement? Perhaps they could target their energy toward a more noble goal than defending Palestinians' right to fire rockets at their neighbor. The 39% unemployment among Palestinians, for instance? I'm not an economist, but I suspect that Palestinians would benefit more from other cargo than explosives and the propellants to send them into Israel. Defending Palestinian rights to access to tools of murder seems to be a misguided humanitarian goal at best.

He would have to pay much less for it than you are taxed for your socialized medicine. And he has access to tests not authorized (/covered/payed for) by your government for persons of your age and medical condition. Try to get expensive tests for things people your age/gender/condition aren't too likely to die from. They don't just give you free access to testing for everything all the time. Heavens no. They couldn't afford that. So now, limiting your access to care further, you're stuck paying for your overpriced socialized care, limiting your ability to afford those services not covered under your socialized medicine. And don't get sick, because not all treatments are covered either. You'll get what they've decided isn't too expensive for everyone. Your choice in the matter: none.

He was initially making the claim that hygiene was a possible reason for circumcision rates in the US vs the UK. Then he apparently forgot what he was talking about and rambled about government influence on hygiene. Obviously it was my fault.
