Tig was awesome. He let me in one of his tri families and paired me as a banker for Sykenom, or whatever his name was, despite the fact I was a total noob. Being paired with pros taught me how to play the game fast.
When Tig died it hit me hard too.

Well true. IC is old. But it was before my senior year, junior maybe. Nevertheless, it was a long time ago, even if IC is much older.

... I swear your judgment and memory functions are messed up. No offense ofc
.
Any how, Tigrine died while I was still in High School, and that means it was at least 4-5 years ago.
I didn't know WFS was around back when Tigrine died. That was long long ago.
Funny you ask. I actually know a lobbyist from an organization that lobbies for population control around the world, lol. Needless to say he's still in Washington and emails me offers to join his annual how-gov-operates tour.
Ok it's time to rip off the Canadians. The US needs peace. We are engaged in very expensive wars that would be better spent at home. We need order. The hip hop generation raises hell and crime is on the rise. More importantly, we need good government. Our government is recklessly inefficient and entangled in mutual relationships with parasitic organizations like unions.
It's time to clean house! I'll even settle with autocracy, but omg it's time to clean the bureaucracy, the economic regulations, the tax codes, and stomp some elites (esp the unions). It's so bad that gradual change (which I promote for the most part) is not appropriate, rather we need radical change. We need to do things like cut taxes to a flat rate of like 15% and cut government spending, we need to eliminate capital gains, we need invest in education in a way that yields higher outputs for less input. The only way to do this is radical change, and we need it now. Autocracy ftw!

And it's a tradition that continues today. The Jew pwns the Palestinian.
Well historically, countries with huge debts have frequently experienced hyperinflation.
He basically means that inflation results in the debasing of the value of currency.

I completely agree with you.
Even worse is when people talk about OTHERS...especially when the others have just died. Like, if everyone is so ****ing nice in death -- why is the world so ****ed up?
Denial is a bitch.
But then again, are you sure your not being over-the-top? I mean, everyone is selfish, but are you being a little too harsh on yourself? Even to prove a point?>
I know! A lot of speeches were how dead relatives influenced their lives. One speech was about her father, who she wished she had spent more time with... She had a (you don't know what you have until you lose it theme).
And naw I wasn't being over the top, I don't think. I am a jerk. Remember my posts about how women are depreciating assets? It brings me joy just to be honest that I am not like those nuts, and instead admit that I choose to live for myself. It's also entertaining admitting that I'm extremely pragmatic and make no moral considerations in my judgments
. I said that too, lol.
Today in Communications, we had to give a 6 minute speech to talk about ourselves. I had enough of everyone talking about how how they are devoted to their family, a cause, or to animals. Really, I had had enough of it. So I decided to be the one honest person. My entire speech revolved around me being selfish, a schemer, and a Machiavellian. I even called people who don't reciprocate parasites and mentioned how I kick them out of my life.
It was entertaining, and I received good reviews. ROFL.
WTF. Now Key came back too.
Welcome back Key ![]()
No, government does create wealth. It prints money!
My blood boils from left lane campers.
I just can't stand them... especially when there's another one in the right lane going the same speed. I wish you could call the police and say "these peeps are obstructing traffic!"

When the government throws you in prison and beats you everyday it gives you lots of time to make up stupid useless proverbs.>
It has its origins in ancient China. Back then was when the most brilliant works on politics were produced by the Chinese, especially during the Warring States period.

Now I remember lol, thanks
. It's a great quote too, lol. The Chinese have insightful thoughts on politics, I must say.
TP,
Oh, fair enough. Got to make do with what you got I guess.
The only solution ofc is for US troops to swarm the capital and install a military government. I am personally in favor of that outcome atm, and it would be funny looking at the faces of the democrats.
Merit pay is great, if you can circumvent the power of teachers unions.
The US education system pays more money per student than any European country.
Still we lag behind.
Money is not the problem.
The problem is where the money is spent and the red tape. The problem stems from the teacher's unions and our world class gyms, swimming pools, and athletic courts. Having a gym is fine, but having 3 of them, a large one that can seat the basketball audience, and an outdoor football stadium is a waste of money. It's sad when the bulk of our money is spent on administration and sports instead of new text books.
The teacher's unions also depress academic performance. It's very hard to fire a teacher who has been there for a while, so poor teachers are difficult to replace with good ones.
Also, teacher's salary is adequate. The average incoming teacher earns around $30k, which is just fine for a college grad. That's also a middle class income. They do not need to be paid a professional salary.

Hurray
.
Anyhow, one of my favorite quotes is this. I forgot who said it and I'm paraphrasing them.
"Bureaucracy expands to satisfy the needs of an expanding bureaucracy."
lol, and it's so true!
TP,
Seriously, just get a new car lol
Well lets put it this way.
Lets suppose that my company anually yields $5 million in revenue every month, after subtracting operation costs and wages.
Now lets also suppose that my total taxes are 50%.
That leaves me with $2.5 million in revenue.
I could be a jerk and spend all that $2.5 million, but the reality is that I'll probably spend less than that (lets say $500,000).
I am therefore left with $2.5 million to invest in my company or in another.
What will the government do with the rest of that $2.5 million? They will spend it inefficiently is what they'll do!
If am instead taxed less, then I have more money to invest in my company. This allows me to expand more and therefore offer new jobs.
Anyway, am I getting this right?

I need to see a psychologist about my computer addiction first.
LP,
My experience is that poor people are receptive to demagoguery. I wouldn't be surprised that the fast transition of power in South Africa could have lead to these types of things. My position has some support even. The government has decided that AIDs doesn't exist, for example, and now one of the wealthiest and most powerful countries in Africa has a major AIDs epidemic.
So the US can annex South Africa?
