"the dismantlement of the palestinian/Israeli state is the only thing that will bring lasting peace. Those muslims were all dumped there because it is a hell hole and they continually want more."
Nay, the Levant area was always an area where Muslims, Christians and Jews coexisted. This was never really a problem for the Ottoman ruler (or the Mamlukes before that, or in fact any muslim leader). It only started to become a problem in WWI. The British promised both the Jewish and Muslim people an own country there, if they started to fight the Ottoman leadership. After WWI, more Jews moved back thinking they'd soon get the land. Instead the British and French divided the lands among themselves, not really inclined to give it to the people. After WWII, Europe felt they ought to repay the Jewish somehow, and this was the start for more migration to that area. Soon the Jewish immigrants and war survivors, on the old promise of WWI, claimed it as theirs and formed the country of Israel. Also, the palestinian state is not yet officially internationally recognised.
Now as for the claims of the Jewish people for calling it "their" land, recent historic studies have shown that the Jewish area of biblical times must have been way smaller than the Bible or the Jewish themselves always claimed. For this I refer to "Diabolic Digest", a site where one of the Guardian's middle-east experts publishes his articles for his own as well (the layout is crap, I've told him a billion times).
As for my opinion: I think (based on the historic background of both parties) that they both deserve the right to be there. However, the Jewish have driven the Palestinians to the dry areas and killed the palestinian state economicly, and some dtastic changes in borders should be made. Also, the kibbuts and the wall should be demolished in long terms. If peace is the one and only goal they're going for.
The current attacks in Ghaza against Hamas is out of proportion and should stop immediatly. Hamas is a monster Israel created for not wanting to make compromizes in the past, and like the IRA, it'll never truely end if nothing else changes.
