Anyone who is old enough to remember the fall of the Berlin Wall may also be old enough to remember the proxy war being fought in Central and South America by the USA and the USSR. You may also remember Reagan promising to rebuild Central America so as to be bigger and better.
But of course this never happened; after spending so much money on the proxy war Washington seemed unwilling to spend any money on reconstruction. Twenty years later it seems that the USA is reaping as it has sown as MS-13, a gang which seems to control all of El Salvador, is now known to be operating in 40 states according to the FBI.

So, was this unavoidable? Is the USA responsible? Is this Reagans greatest mistake?

He's probably on a mission, he'll be back.

I remember watching some of those on You've Been Framed over 10 years ago.

The only way this will happen is if Robert Mugabe's fear of death is bigger than his lust for power.

A number of British MPs have, over the last 8 years, been admitting to having previously tried cannabis, mostly during their college days over 25 years ago.
BUT they didn't enjoy it.
None of them.
Oh, except for one Labour MP, who is now my political hero as he stated, "Where are you from, I think I should have the British Medical Council have a look at you to see how differently your brains work because I tried it and I enjoyed it!"

So far the numbers are 1 enjoyed it.
15+ didn't enjoy it.

This WILL change how I vote in the future.

What you are insinuating is wrong; if we take Scandinavia as an example of a predominantly socialist area, do we see paranoia.
Now what if we take hte USA as a predominantly conservative area, do we see paranoia.

Political Correctness is a direct result of paranoia, of discrimination, not of political ideals. It is folly to try and say otherwise.

Another edit, and a few additions to those already on the list.

If certain people do not come forwards soon, to deal with the economy and the military, I shall recruit them anyway... you know who you are...

I have decided that we should take over the world, and by we I mean me and whoever I decide is good enough to manage certain tasks.
Nominations and volunteers are welcome, however the final word rests with me.

TheYell
"General Yell, Commander in Chief of the Order of the Iron Fist", who's primary concern is Law, Order, and Justice, in that order.

[TI] ZoZferatu [Pw9]
My second, who will ensure that everything is known and duly noted, even down to what people have for dinner. Officially he does not exist.

Loz is my style icon
"Senior President of the Ministry of Administration". Under her capable stewardship our great land will become the embodiment of efficientcy and organisation.

Simon
Brother Simon, Keeper of Ages, Defender of Faith.

Nemmy
Head of the Ministry of Health, to keep the nation healthy. She will also be in charge of the Ministry of Competition, and will organise games and competitions to keep the populace smart and strong. Under her stewarchip our great land will become a land of genetic superiority.

Arocalex
Head of the Ministry of Transportation. Under his capable stewardship our great land will become synonymous with punctuality.

Einstein
Our good friend Michael gets to be in charge of the military, strategy, weapons research and propaganda. Thanks to him our enemies will fear the very mention of our military and our allies will do what they are told when they are told.

Black Wing
Who will be given command of the economy, wether he wants the position or not. big_smile

SkyWarp
Shall be in charge of the Bureau of Broadcasting. The nation can be rest assured that him being handpicked by me shall in no way afect the impartiality of any news on Channel One.

The Panda
Our national symbol, strong yet solitary.

however you explain it, there is no denying that there is an upwards trend; now this doesn't mean you have to actually believe it's fully man made, we could just be a couple of drops in a bucketload of normal cyclical increases or whatever;

but there is such a thing as the cautionary principle; you take measures based on a pessimistic assessment and hope for a better than expected outcome

this is really hard for many people to understand because they are infected with consumerist short sightedness (which also lead to the US credit crunch), but it's not a good idea to set policy based on the hope that everything is allright, and everything will be allright in the future, that there are no limits to growth and you can maximise everything that can be maximised without conserving and stuff<
