oops... I meant KB and Kagar (mistake tongue).

@Archangel- KB and Kagar (fixed) are similar attackers. Thats why its easier to compare them (and there is a real argument). Over here, a lot of players disagree. Talic, Jets, me, hell even PP (although he says Kagar is the second best NAP cancellation attacker which doesnt really sit right with me) say the same thing. Impire is probably unparalleded in the '100 mil nw fleet, largest cancel war of the round' type of style. Hes still fricking great for the rest of the round but not the best (activity is an issue).

Kagar (and KB) are the type who will be able to do 100+ captures each and every IC year for the whole round starting mid ephase... Comparing them is more of a popularity contest than anything (especially cause I dont really think they have gone against one another in a fair round. i.e- smirnoff at its best vs playboys or whatever).

I didnt say you dont have good bankers. i just said you dont have as many as we do (i have a feeling some in your fam would agree tongue).

BTW, for a lot of PW players, I found some nice old posts. Remember earlier in the round when I was complaining about shitty races. And when I bitched cause people said fams like 69 were "lucky" to get good players? Apparently, I have been bitching about this for a few years tongue. Here are a few old posts I was looking at for jokes. They are pretty good reads smile. Mind the english though... Cut me slack. These are a few years old tongue. And i dont really look at my grammer/fragments while I type.

And for the people who want to read a bit more tongue
http://icstrategy.dreamhosters.com/strategy.php?action=view&id=14 (CF strategy by PP. Exactly to the dot how I do it and how a LOT of the best cf bankers in PW/MW and Andro do it. Most common and effective method)

Just cause Im bored... I havent played in PW for years so forgive me for not knowing people tongue

1 Lucky 7s (777) (x:49,y:23)  1606 12040875 - Got pretty lucky to get a decent and experienced set of bankers and attackers from BOR. Played a pretty solid round so far and was a good early choice to switch allies to 69 and 72. Unless there is a massive screwup somewhere, they should win the round with their allies.

2 Reverse this! (769) (x:20,y:29)  1665 10865520 - To be extremely honest, I would say this fam probably has nowhere near as many good bankers as 77. This is the prime example of how a single player or two can organize and lead a family who would be average in any other circumstances to be the top fam. Deserve to win the round smile. Probably will...

3 So Animals F*ck? (774) (x:32,y:20)  1421 9891022 : This fam is kindof here by default. Pnapped to 69 tri. Dont wanna deny them a good round (they may have been here regardless of their NAPs), but seriously... 69 tri has been taking care of the top fams for the whole round. So them finishing 3rd or even 1st would hardly prove a point.

4 (772) (x:13,y:16)  1406 9670922 : A few extremely solid players here. They have been quite aggressive through most of the round. Seem to have lesser overall active players than some of the other fams + theyve been jumping into wars to help their allies, slowing down their infra growth, which I would say is the only reason they are not 3rd at the moment.

5 Random Nubs (775) (x:29,y:31)  1287 8500670 : I kindof respect this family for staying top 5 all this time... X has been an annoyance to more than one fam I am sure. And they havent vultured (much) which is also nice. They should start playing defensively soon because 76 alliance OR 69 alliance may turn to them as the only logical target once they are done slaughtering each other (btw, before anyone looks too deeply into this, Im just a banker... I dont know squat about wars yikes).

6 I LOVE COLO(U)RS! XD (776) (x:3,y:43)  841 6120633 : Should have been ranked 2-4. Period. Played a good early round. Playing a decent middle. Seem to have lost a few players to inactivity. Their major downfall was being the next biggest fam in the next biggest tri. Believe me, the second tri get the brunt of damage in any given round cause they are the top tri's biggest threat. I sympathize cause Ive been there way too many times to count. If they continue to play, they can still salvage a top 5 finish (although the top 5 seems to be kindof cemented at the moment).

7 Mathmatic Solution! (773) (x:2,y:49)  720 4856152 : Same as I said for 76. Didnt play as solid a round as 76 IMO but still good. If this tri had won, these guys would be second.

8 Jail Birds (780) (x:16,y:48)  790 4492904 : Didnt see much off this this war. Maybe they were busier with 72 and 69 but I think these guys didnt get hit anywhere near as hard as their allies. Again, Im a banker, not an attacker... Still, they should theoretically be the highest nw in their tri based on that fact.

9 SS (770) (x:45,y:60)  644 3796771 : Dont like their races. Theyre way to fleet heavy (are they at war?). Dont believe in attackers. First pretender in my list yikes.

10 Were the handsomest fam in PW (784) (x:15,y:32)  471 3247664 : They had some good players. Then they had to play wierd as a family and blow it due to inactivity. If I had UWS and Playtronics in my fam, Id use em... (yes I realize Play was doing very well early round but still, he shouldnt have been forced to go inactive).

11 Cumsville = God. (779) (x:8,y:40)  578 3126117 : Cumsville != God. gb2MW :@. Take me along. Actually nvm... I kinda like it here.

12 Masters of Distraction (765) (x:51,y:27)  526 3122197 : Theyre getting slaughtered. Have been offered a PNAP. If theyre smart, they will take it and I dont see how they wont be able to end top 10 size and nw at EOR smile. Ive already made it clear why I think smaller fams should NAP while theyre still in an OK position, but its up to them.

13 Assasins! (782) (x:1,y:19)  501 2960070 : Seen a few core clearances by them. Mostly inactive fam though yikes. Dont really know much more.

14 Countries of the World!! (768) (x:32,y:50)  630 2731213 : Dont really know much bout these guys tbh.

15 MAD TV (781) (x:51,y:5)  494 2524167 : They would have been doing better but bad decision after bad decision from their leader and certain players made sure they got thoroughly farmed... Prime example of not knowing how to quit while you're ahead.

Nolio-Noir almost won ICC with a fam full of randoms. I say that should disqualify your last statement tongue. OK to be fair, ICC did have people with lots of experience and were active. But any 'top' family makes its randoms good. The player doesnt have to do it. Or are you implying that any round Noir has won in a regular galaxy, all his randoms were top notch?

Impire is a war attacker. Yeah he can take a ton of planets the rest of the time etc but Noir is consistant. Kagar is a consistant attacker but Id be just as scared (if not more) of Noir during war time (not the best fleet jump attacker [like Impire or Talic or even Genesis], but a lot of the top players in different galaxies would trust him with their fleet.

Im not saying Noir is the best, just more all round smile.

Noones complaining about IA. We know you guys arent in it with 65. Just that 65 shouldnt have done this while 3 fams were already warring 69 smile.

Depends on cancellation or not tongue

Im running the hell away if I ever have to fight a huge cancellation war versus Impire. Id rather fight them slow and simple.

Kagar on the other hand would be easier to take cancellation but I'd avoid doing no NAP versus them... Just makes life harder when you keep getting cleared tongue.

Noir is more well rounded I say... So maybe him?

Impure Mathematics
------ -----------
To prove once and for all that math can be fun, we present: Wherein it is related how that paragon of womanly
virtue, young Polly Nomial (our heroine) is accosted by that notorious villain Curly Pi, and factored (oh horror!!!)
Once upon a time (1/t) pretty little Polly Nomial was strolling across a field of vectors when she came to the boundary
of a singularly large matrix. Now Polly was convergent, and her mother had made it an absolute condition that she must never
enter such an array without her brackets on. Polly, however, who had changed her variables that morning and was feeling
particularly badly behaved, ignored this condition on the basis that it was insufficient and made her way in amongst the complex
elements. Rows and columns closed in on her from all sides. Tangents approached her surface. She became tensor and tensor.
Quite suddendly two branches of a hyperbola touched her at a single point. She oscillated violently, lost all sense of
directrix, and went completely divergent. As she tripped over a square root that was protruding from the erf and plunged
headlong down a steep gradient. When she rounded off once more, she found herself inverted, apparently alone, in a non-Euclidean space.
She was being watched, however. That smooth operator, Curly Pi, was lurking inner product. As his eyes devoured her
curvilinear coordinates, a singular expression crossed his face. He wondered, "Was she still convergent?" He decided to
integrate properly at once.
Hearing a common fraction behind her, Polly rotated and saw Curly Pi approaching with his power series extrapolated.
She could see at once by his degenerate conic and dissipative that he was bent on no good.
     "Arcsinh," she gasped.
"Ho, ho," he said, "What a symmetric little asymptote you have I can see you angles have lots of secs."
"Oh sir," she protested, "keep away from me I haven't got my brackets on."
"Calm yourself, my dear," said our suave operator, "your fears are purely imaginary."
"I, I," she thought, "perhaps he's not normal but homologous."
"What order are you?" the brute demanded.
     "Seventeen," replied Polly.
Curly leered "I suppose you've never been operated on."
"Of course not," Polly replied quite properly, "I'm absolutely convergent."
"Come, come," said Curly, "let's off to a decimal place I know and I'll take you to the limit."
     "Never," gasped Polly.
"Abscissa," he swore, using the vilest oath he knew. His patience was gone. Coshing her over the coefficient with a
log until she was powerless, Curly removed her discontinuities.
He stared at her significant places, and began smoothing out her points of inflection. Poor Polly. The algorithmic method was
now her only hope. She felt his digits tending to her asymptotic limit. Her convergence would soon be gone forever.
There was no mercy, for Curly was a heavyside operator. Curly's radius squared itself; Polly's loci quivered. He integrated by parts. He integrated by partial fractions. After he cofactored, he performed runge - kutta on her. The complex beast even went all the way around and did a contour integration. What an indignity - to be multiply connected on her first integration. Curly went on operating until he completely satisfied her hypothesis, then he exponentiated and became completely orthogonal.
When Polly got home that night, her mother noticed that she was no longer piecewise continuous, but had been truncated
in several places But it was to late to differentiate now. As the months went by, Polly's denominator increased monotonically. Finally she went to L'Hopital and generated a small but pathological function which left surds all over the place and drove Polly to deviation.
The moral of our sad story is this: "If you want to keep your expressions convergent, never allow them a single degree of freedom."

Pretty much, this is how I like to do it.

Early on build cfs only (rcs are optional... I prefer using the space for cfs and OBing a little bit with rcs but its your choice). Once you are at about 40-50 fully built planets, start building tos to fullbuilt on any new planets. Ob the older ones a bit. Once your capable of OBing past 100%, ob all planets you get to 100% tos before building new cfs on them. You will likely have more than 25-30% to ratio early round. But considering you stop building tos at 100%, you can ob with cfs later up to 700% without having your ratios go too fubar smile.

Portalling/building op defence is again personal. If I explore far, I personally like portalling early (one portal for my furthest systems so any planets being passed to me early on dont take me like 15+ ticks to reach). Start fully portalling once you can make 5-6 portals a tick. Build a decent ground/air fleet after you are portalled. Just keep the basics to take planets from attackers/station a bit before then. Always keep a fair op defence. Noone should be able to nuke you without jumping themselves. Dont go overboard, but dont ignore op defence either. Thats bout it smile
