"Kemp: There is a difference between doing everything we can to save people and doing everything as expensive as possible."

As expensive as possible? I never suggested that. You're responding to a straw man, ignoring my point. Are you 5? I'm not interested in conversing with 5 year olds.

Ignoring what I said and spamming generalities is not a discussion; it's not a response. It's stupid.

"Human life is not something that should have a value on it, which is the point of this thread."

No, the point of the thread is that you can't give everything to everyone. Government control requires bureaucrats to decide who gets what, as opposed to the free market providing more for more people.

I agree that human life should not have a value on it, but the government control you advocate puts a price on it, whether you ignorantly deny it or not. Ignorance may be bliss, but it can't make a case for you.

You_Fool, you're ignoring the simple reality that the demand for certain services far exceeds the supply.

By pretending you can give everyone the most expensive, cutting-edged treatment, you end up ruining the quality of your healthcare system.

How ironic that you called it a fallacy to believe any point is too expensive. You literally cannot give everything to everyone. To pretend you can is idiotic and requires seriously fallacious reasoning.

Cougar, the church is protesting the government infringing their rights. They're not trying to "get involved with the law," ie. write laws. They're simply filing suit over their rights being violated.

The church isn't trying to make anybody do anything.

Ron Paul is against healthcare mandates, including this one.

There's no question. If you vote for a Republican or Democrat, you're a sheep.

We didn't achieve this debt by picking the right guy half the time.

Holder isn't being allowed to violate the law (the AG no less!) because Republicans are holding him accountable.

Our civil rights haven't been eroded for decades because Republicans or Democrats are fighting to uphold the Constitution and protect them.

We don't send our young men and women to be casualties of war in nations which are no threat to us because Republicans or Democrats have values and give a damn about morality or our servicemen.

Einstein, you'd have to be severely mentally retarded to not be aware that you haven't responded to a bloody thing I've said on these topics in more than a month.

Stop crying. Grow up.

*****

Cougar, I agree that obviously racism can be unspoken but indirectly implied. But such allegations--and I don't dispute it happens--must be judged on the individual merits of that particular case. As I said, I don't give a damn if Gingrich is a racist--I despise him either way. I'm not disputing your claims that he is, I'm only saying that Perez Hilton is retarded trash who can't make a case. tongue

I believe that some of the black incarceration rate in the USA is due to criminality being more common among many black communities (PURELY for CULTURAL reasons). Of course, I don't dispute racism happens either. But to blame racism for 100% of the disproportionately high incarceration rate, I think, would be as ignorant as blaming culture in various black communities for 100% of it.

I do believe it's a fact that racism is inherently evil. It's inherently ignorant, it's inherently hateful, and it's inherently harmful. I'm just kicking around some ideas, not disagreeing that it's real, and that it ought to be fought. It's certainly true that it exists in more hidden forms than KKK asshats in hoods.

I wouldn't bother with Einstein. He's just trolling or his brain short-circuited. He brought up Libertarian topics more than a month ago and I layed out my views on drug use and homosexuality. He literally never responded to a single point or argument I made, yet he has the childish, embarrassing arrogance to pretend he's won a debate that he refused to take any part in. It's just awkward and stupid. You can't have a conversation with a child throwing a tantrum.

~Wornstrum~, for your appeal to the UN as a deciding factor in "independence," I hate you. I hate your intellectually girly-man balls. I hate your face!

And your claims about their 1-child policy prohibiting war(s) is just silly. They still have 90 bazillion people. They still have more able-bodied young men than anybody else. And they're much less inclined to care what number they have left than anybody else.

And I only read two sentnces from your post! I'm so disappointed. At least you're in China. At least you're getting what you deserve!

Einstein:
"Go ask people around you, are you voting for Mitt or Paul." "Nuff sais there."

...What? Obama was elected into office, so he's clearly the best? Our current/previous leaders got us massively into debt with unsustainable welfare programs; but they did get elected, so they're clearly the best?

"A libertarian would allow an explosives laden truck to be driven by an 18 year old new driver with 20 hours of constant driving through your neighborhood because they are anti-regulation."

Stupid straw-man argument. No, they wouldn't.

"If Kemp drove a truck for 1 year he would come back here, apologize to me, renounce Libertarianism, and embrace Conservatism."

For someone who doesn't know that "you're" and "your" are different words with different meanings, you're awfully cocky. For someone who literally will not respond to a single point I make, you're awfully cocky. For someone who frequently abandons threads when he's been explained indisputably to have made absolutely false claims, you're awfully cocky. For someone who just name-calls and cannot back up his name-calling, you're awfully cocky.

You haven't, even once, ATTEMPTED to argue for conservative (ie social, anti-drug, anti-homosexual) values vs libertarian values. To every point I made in favor of Libertarian values, you didn't respond to a single one. It takes a lot of intellectual cowardice and childish arrogance to follow that up with appeals to authority (If you did what I did, if you knew what I do....) that damnit, you know better. You can't/won't ever actually explain your position or respond to nearly ANYTHING I say, but damnit, you know better!

We're on a discussion forum. Give it up. If you can't even make a case, even a poor one, you've got nothing. You haven't even tried. Not on any topic Libertarians disagree with Conservatives on. Not once, given all of my posts and responses and explanations.

It's gotten just stupid, because you've literally conceded everything I've said on every Libertarian topic. You've responded to absolutely NONE of the many points I've made regarding drug policy, homosexuality, or Ron Paul (to the extent that he ties into Libertarianism) for more than a month. Yet you continually run from those discussions and come back later with more stupid straw-man beating marathons as if Libertarians are inherently against DUI laws or antibiotics. You run from every discussion without responding to a single argument or point yet come back later with arrogant whining about how Libertarians are every misspelled bad word you can think of.

Not once have you responded to arguments and points made in their favor against your positions. Not once. Yet you keep spamming/trolling a discussion forum arrogantly/ignorantly/stupidly/embarrassingly as if you have.

Cougar,

perezhilton.com is absolute trash. Newt Gingrich IS absolute garbage, but the first ignorant whining I read when I clicked that link disgusted me. There ARE cultural problems predominant in poor black communities in America. Some of these problems ARE far more prevalent in black communities than most Asian communities and some "Latino" communities. Acknowledging and discussing these CULTURAL issues is not racist.

Again, Gingrich is a phony, trashy, unprofessional dipshit. But to ignorantly pretend that talking about the cultural differences predominant among Asian/black poor communities which give Asians much more upward mobility is not racist. It's not even a bad thing. Mr. Hilton is an idiotic, trashy, unprofessional dipshit as well. Maybe Gingrich has said dumb racist things (I could hardly care less, since I already despise him), but Mr. Hilton's ignorant trash is intellectually offensive and morally disgusting.

Edit: Gingrich's english is even terribly poor/ambiguous (or maybe just wrong) in the first quote. But his point [in that quote] isn't racist, it's cultural.

Einstein is more of a "big spender" than Rep. Paul. Pointing this out to him will result in name-calling Rep. Paul a "big spender," regardless of the fact that it's just not true by any definition or mathematical framework.

Washington is filled with people like Einstein, who are willfully ignorant or willfully stupid when it comes to getting along with their fellow party members. Corruption and stealing from future generations doesn't work unless everyone is involved!

Ron Paul is more fiscally conservative [to my knowledge] than any other member of Congress. [I did ask for an example of someone more fiscally conservative. Einstein was unable to provide one] Absolutely every single way you can try to do the math backs up this claim. I might support a little more international military presence (if we could get our act together, which we won't), but even with such a reduction in Rep. Paul's supported cuts, he'd STILL be, by FAR, the most fiscally conservative guy in the room.

Calling him a "big spender" is just ignorant and stupid. And you know it, Einstein. Calling him names is just childish and stupid. You know he's not a big spender. You've had this pointed out to you and explained. You didn't respond or dispute a word of it. You've been asked for examples of who's more fiscally conservative. You didn't provide one single example.

You know you're making false statements. Instead of getting mad and calling people names, maybe you should think about why the truth upsets you so much.

So what?

That he's "in the tops for pork" doesn't make him a "big spender" relative to anybody else. This point eludes you.

He's arguing against actual wastes of significant amounts of money. Those you support do not. Yet you would call people who want to cut back .07% in spending fiscally conservative and Paul, who would actually drastically reduce spending, a "big spender" because of his inclusion of "pork," a tiny part of the budget? (Which wouldn't be reduced if he didn't ask for any)

That's absolutely retarded. It doesn't make any sense. It's wrong by the math. Having trouble with numbers? Maybe politics isn't your game. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!

Einstein, you're arguing that Congress isn't wasteful and they wouldn't spend as much if the powerful Rep. Paul didn't take some. Hahahahaha you're a naive socialist!? (Edit: I understand that this isn't a serious argument, calling you a socialist; but you're suddenly, conveniently, pretending that Congress wouldn't give the goodies to somebody else. That's just laughable.)

You didn't even respond to my second point. Regardless of the point he makes with his vote, I explained why his constituents deserve the money as much as anybody else (who would get it if they didn't). Your equivocation over how he votes and why doesn't change the point.

You didn't respond to the third point either. What part of "what you accuse Mr. Paul of accounts for only a TINY amount of government spending, while he's one of the ONLY politicians arguing strongly against the actual problems with our spending" did you not understand?

He's a "big spender" compared to which Republicans in Congress? Try to give us some examples so we can laugh at your ignorance and arrogance in calling him a "big spender," being a Republican yourself. You'll be strained to find a single example of a more fiscally conservative candidate, yet you accuse of him being a "big spender" because you feel threatened by his position of actually advocating real freedom.

This is why I accuse you of being an intellectual coward: Absolutely ridiculous arguments like this. You're a Republican, calling Rep. Paul a "big spender"? Compared to who? Do they argue, as he does, against MASSIVE constitutional overreaches in domestic and foreign spending? No. Your argument is ridiculous on its face. You're openly hypocritical. You know what you're saying is false, so you just get mad over it and say it anyway.

Is this all over your head? Maybe you shouldn't vote, or run for office.

Do it out of embarrassment. Just do it.

Edit: He can't be serious. This is why we know he's trolling. Or SO stupid we shouldn't encourage him to speak in public. The absolute retardation of what he posts is over-the-top. He's talking about the productivity of man like it's static and economic activity is a zero-sum-game. FIVE YEAR OLDS are smarter than that. It's not worth even explaining here. It's not a matter of opinion that when I go out and produce something that others judge worth paying me for, I've not stolen. Nobody was hurt that I produced something and was thanked by society in the forum of currency for my labor. It's a fact that things like this are false and absolutely stupid. It's a fact that, trolling or genuinely retarded, we shouldn't be letting this forum be pulled down to this level.

Einstein hates Ron Paul because he's everything Romney should be but isn't. Einstein is ashamed of his lack of the intellectual will to accurately assess Republican's failures for many decades. I speak of the 16 trillion dollar debt they're more interested in increasing than fighting.

The notion that Romney supports more freedom than Paul is absolutely, 100% retarded.

BTW, the money Paul takes in earmarks:
1) Would be spent anyway; it would just go somewhere else, if he refused it
2) His constituents payed for, so they deserve it as much as whoever else would get it if they refused
3) Is a tiny part of our deficits, and NOT the major problems we need to deal with to balance our budgets (problems which Ron Paul argues vehemently against)

You hate Paul because he stands for actual freedom, not the bedroom-police, corporate-whore, war-monger "freedom" of a big organization you found to comfort you by supporting. You support their corruption, cronyism, complete lack of ideals or backbone to support their "ideals," their wars, and in return you get to belong to the club. Your boy Boehner isn't interested in holding Holder in contempt, because he's a corrupt piece of shit. Your boy Reince Priebus is either ignorant of the historical facts in this country surrounding the civil rights movement for blacks and the gay rights crying of homosexuals today, or is a god-awful speaker. Great choice for chairman.

The worst things Ron Paul has ever done were to associate with the Republican party and lie about his newsletter. Of course, suckers like you only vote for Republicans and actually believe that bullshit about his newsletter, so maybe he's just being a crafty politician at a cost to his honesty.

The sad fact is, as flawed as he is, he's still better than 99% of Republicans, including you. And this makes you furious.
