As always it is not the weapon that kills, it is the person. The gun owner saved lives that day.

1. Criminals will always have guns.
2. When the citizenry is armed, criminals face greater risks committing violent crimes.
3. When criminals face greater risks, then they are more likely to be deterred.

The only argument against this is that increased gun ownership will increase gun accidents or misuse. But to make this argument stick, you would have to prove that the cost of increased gun accidents or misuse outweighs the benefits of crime deterrence. Until I have seen proof for that conclusion, I am solidly pro-gun.

Dirty Iluvatar, like justinian said if even one person that was an everyday citizen with a gun was around, then the crazy person would be a dead crazy person, and we would have saved our tax payers 30k a year in expenses for his/her stay in prison.

proof in pudding, chicago anti gun craze vs any constitutional carry state in crime statistics. while your at it look up law abiding citizens with carry permits or gangsta lean sideways shooting doing those crimes. 

THEN and IF your a U.S. citizen protected by the 2nd amendment, yout comment might matter.


The 2nd amendment just dosnt protect me against the bad guys and "zombies" but also the P O S 's that land in office as well.

They have sex ed, why not firearm safety course. Ofc parents can opt out with a signed waiver.
