...and you are paying big time. His stupid plans to "save" the econ will hurt so bad I hope you can climb out in time. I just cannot grasp how somebody can get away with this. If you f*ck up your company, it will be sold out and others will take leadership and try. Only thing gov may do is keep it going till its sold out, not hand out a bonus to their friends who FU.

Its a stupid policy. In belgium we have a huge deficit. It took us ages to go back to 80% of our GDP
on the left you have the % under the axis you have the year:

and no skoe, if you think about it thoroughly its the viruslovers finally liberating the viruses by giving them a fair chance to fight back against the oppressive human race.

I tried to translate your text but not all of it is clear. I gues you want to say the vc would have continued if the US was winning the vietnam war?

@avo:
maybe, but even if intel is better, they won't keep it up without competition. Our entire market system is based on competition.

It might be easily affordable by intel but at least its a sign they try to deal with these kind of excessive monopolies. Even if they did it the clumsy-EU-institution way. I bet US will do the same with intel the EU did in their own version. The US has good laws for these problems. However its a difficult problem without a simple solution. Its a very difficult task to make good regulations witch do not harm the market.

@zarf:
"That not all diseases mutate."
Most do however and all of them do if you wait long enough. Under normal circumstances that is. There is, to your defense, a discussion going on about when to call it mutation but thats not what you are referring to is it?

"If smallpox were a mutating virus, it could never have been eradicated in the '60's, because the disease would change year after year, just like influenza does, making old antibiotics useless."
1.) antibiotics don't work on a virus.
2.) A large if not the biggest part of viruses are mutations who came from animal viruses.

Lets just set a few things straight for people who skipped high school:
a virus is not a "living" thing. It can use living cells for "reproduction".
antibiotics don't work on viruses. It can only work to prevent the weakened body from having other unwanted bacteria.

One thing you dem and rep guys share: no skill for writing songs/poems tongue

on topic: Who believes those figures anyway? How many people do answer these questions out of the entire US population? People who don't do polls are not calculated yet make a up a considerable part of the US population.

Obama is doing a shitjob trowing taxpayers money into companies who screwed up. I live in a country with a huge debt I can tell you all about it. Its perfectly logical some big companies screw up and get sold out to other companies who can try to do better. No need to save their sorry asses.

I did not like bush, but the market would have crashed without him as well. The market will restore but not because of Obama but because of other variables.

a normal flu can mutate as well. Thats why its that hard to have a vaccine for life. You cannot keep on stopping these things. One time it will just have to its dirty work no matter what you do.

ow and Esa, you compare the situation in the past with one in the present. Its a mistake often made because people see a country like a person (but one that often lives much longer.) Its like saying someone who is born in us right now is responsible for killing off Indians in the past. He has nothing to do with it.

Fact remains it was pointless how the USSR tried to keep up. Plain stupidity and wrong strategy. It doesn't matter how good/bad they were. Its exactly the same now. If Russian leaders were smart or cared for their country they wouldn't (have) maintain(ed) a lot of their useless remains of the USSR period and invest in econ, financial structure, infrastructure and a better law system instead.

"In their world Bill Gates would have been counting trees, the insolent little prick"
If bill would have had, we would have been much more advanced with a lot of IT tech. However, one can say our tech was more advanced DESPITE bill, and that is an achievement.

Ussr was stupid in the first place to keep up with US military. Russia is doing it again.

idd its not.

Anyway I hate these Europe vs us threads. In terms of this thread: These topics are the royal multinazis who don't deserve their civil rights.

Jus, you generalize to much my son. It just doesn't make any sense at all. And not that it changes anything but I spit on Nazis or royals.

How long you think it takes before all Europeans are commies and all Americans fat and dumb? You can as well copy paste any of those others threads and no one would notice.
