The name of the game is destroy the family, destroy the moral values of societies.

Righteous peoples stand up for their liberty and their livelihoods. Junkie pedophiles make for good slaves. They know which type of people they want more of in the world.

Why are there two Caucasians in the shot? Clearly, Barack Obama is a racist.

Stare at the sun for a few minutes tomorrow and let me know if you notice any distortions of your vision. I'll bet it's a miracle.

Medical science in the USA is often a joke today. Anyone who isn't cured by a patented drug is clearly still ill, and they "shouldn't" be lacking symptoms. Doctors often refuse to accept alternative medicine and frequently proclaim people cured by known effective treatments to be inexplicable cases of recovery. It's good for their livelihoods. They AMA doesn't hide this; they bully people into submission with jail time and revoked licenses.

That they or you have limitations of knowledge is not proof of miracles. It's to be expected.

Christ pointed out in the Gospels that God's word is about how to live our lives, not about proving anything to anyone. Yet here you are, arguing over what is proven and that Christ backs you up on it.

It'll be interesting to watch China challenge the US Navy in the Pacific in the coming decade. Because the US is soon going to be forced to admit it's too broke to maintain its Navy.

Of course they'll grow. Their fascist leaders want to siphon more money from their cattle. And if they fail to grow the economy, they'll falsify figures and we'll think they grew either way.

It gives them more customers by penalty of federal fines. It forces them to overcharge customers, making them purchase coverage for things they cannot possibly need.

They lobbied to get it passed.

They made political contributions to the legislators who passed it. Many are owned by the same international banks who own the majority of our legislature.

It siphons more money from the private economy, aka the middle class, and gives it to the wealthy owners of big banks, big insurance companies, and big government.

They wrote it.

That's not what I said. It's just what you pretended I said, unwilling or unable to respond to what I stated.

BTW, nobody but you thinks you're a "Prophet."

Miracles or a lack thereof have no relevance to the idiocy of the Obama administration having the entire military given language advice.

BTW, claiming that miracles can be proven just makes you sound ridiculous. The faithless think you're a fool, and those of faith know that part of miracles supposedly being miracles is that they can't be proven, or they'd negate the "faith" part of... faith.

Key, the ACA was written by huge insurance companies. Your problem with insurance companies is a problem with the ACA.

It's the ACA and other government laws shutting down competition (in addition to the already huge cost of entry into the field) making insurance more expensive and less efficient.

Giving corrupt government, owned by the same banks that own huge insurance companies, more control over the industry just makes problems with insurance companies worse. You have a problem with current insurance companies? Me too. But giving the same corrupt government that enables them to do bad things more power makes the problems worse, not better.

Slavery is thousands of years old, all races did it, and black slaves in America weren't the last to be freed. There are still slaves today.

The current chapter of the history of slavery in America is that the topic is being used to distract people from the fact that Americans today are being made into slaves more and more with most new laws passed. 40,000 new laws take effect in 2014! That's the modern history of slavery.

Talk is cheap. The obvious logical means to conclude this debate is gladiatorial combat.

Einstein said "there are liberals out there that wish for this to be a law."

I asked who. I asked what "this" was. No response.

If anyone has information on an educational program that can reach special persons, please inform me of it and how I can obtain additional information. While I am not a Christian, the Bible instructs me (I appreciate it as a work of moral philosophy) to seek to help those most in need.

twistedpuppet, Edison was a thug. He's why Hollywood was on the opposite coast of the country from the reach of his thugs.

If you want counter-arguments that show that government can make worth-while investments, I suggest you use the Manhattan project or the moon landings. These are examples of government choosing competent managers and competent technocrats to achieve huge success.

Granted, while I would probably agree with Einstein that those examples are extremely rare and occurred only in very rare cares of very technical feats to be accomplished (and, I would contend, at those historical times democratic processes were far more likely to reject failure than they would be today), chances are he wouldn't ascertain the history as such and I would be spared having to state any such agreement.

My point was that taxpayers shouldn't pay for any such thing as an "equal opportunity officer," let alone any such thing as the "Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute." Taxpayers should pay for soldiers to be trained and equipped as well as possible.

And taxpayers should vote for candidates who send soldiers to only as few and as morally just military engagements as possible.

All of this is bullshit. The military should have nothing to say about Christmas or any religions' holidays. If any branches of the military are sending out holiday cards and the contents of those cards are being directed by Obama administration officials (or agencies they've hired) we're already several levels way too deep in political bullshit. That's not the army's job. That's not the army's purpose.

That said, most military personnel are Christians. Military Christmas cards or whatever are not necessarily offensive. Maybe they're not very inclusive. That's a perfectly legitimate conversation to have. I'd be interested to read about the dialogue between Christian officials and non-Christian service members and their families who disagree with "Christmas" card publicans and not publications for service members of other denominations. Or spending time/money on this crap to begin with. By my calling it "crap", I'm already suggested I'm predisposed to agree with the non-Christrians who aren't interested in receiving Christmas cards from the army and aren't happy that they're paying taxes to finance this waste.

But that's not what we have here. What we have here is taxpayers paying for bureaucrats telling military personnel "you can't say the word Christmas." That's just stupid. It's a waste of money. It's offensive to everyone's intelligence. And it's a distraction from bigger national issues.

If some military official is demanding that service members celebrate/acknowledge "Christmas," that's a story. If someone objects to the amount of money spent on "Christmas" expenditures for the military when not everyone in the military is Christian, that's a story. But some hired bullshit firm telling military personnel not to use the word "Christmas"? That's a waste of money. Anyone in the military who needs the advice of a PR/marketing firm in carrying out their duties is inept and should be fired immediately.

This whole story should read "WARNING: Idiots running things, wasting our money. WHY aren't these people ALL FIRED?!"

Any other headline misses the point.

Aren't all Kiwis gay? You learn something new every day.

I've loved all the Kiwis I've met. (No homo.) I don't mean any offense.

Government is not an investor. What you advocate is cronyism and theft from the working to line the pockets of the politically connected. What you advocate, Key, is fascism. I strongly recommend you learn more of human history. It's filled with it.

A recent study showed that 90 some percent of "environmental" advocacy group funding comes from big business seeking to attack their competitors.

I'm all for alternative fuel. I'm all for cleaner energy. But the fact is that government protects mega business damaging the earth right now. Government is not looking to help humanity develop cleaner energy, government is what enables corporate megabusiness to squash clean energy research.

Did you read about the offices at Solyndra? They were the most lavish I've ever heard of. All of the company heads knew they were a joke; an excuse to get half a billion in government money and pass a lot of it back to political campaigns. The company heads were just enjoying the ride and millions of our taxdollars as salaries and bonuses.

Government "investments" are filled with examples like Solyndra.

I'm all for tax breaks for things which benefit the country and mankind in general. But the notion that government funding is a good thing--and even _necessary_--is laughably naive. Well, it would be laughable. If it wasn't so tragic that so many people are that ignorant that they support fascism and slavery in the name of sustainable development.

Your logic is as flawed as your English.

We know for a fact that many personnel were held back from helping. We know that 2 men were able to hold out for hours. We know that there's a coverup, because we were lied to from the beginning and all of the witnesses who were there that night have been kept from not only the media, but from Congress.

Keep lying to us. It really builds a strong argument.

twistedpuppet, it is my contention that most of the American people are sheep being herded like livestock by international banks seeking to enslave us all (modern day usage of the term "enslave," try to stretch your mind a little) with massive debt we can never repay. They collect interest because of the idiotic actions of generations past and we're all stuck paying because of things our parents and grandparents did. Free money to them. Loss of freedom and opportunity for us.

That is why my simple point, as stated in this thread, is that our military ought not have anything to say regarding religion. Its job does not require it to have a position on the matter. And, if it does, it is my position that the military is being used for political purposes and we're all losing valuable tax dollars in this endeavor.

I'm not sure how your calling me names while addressing nothing I've said does anything but provide evidence in support of this contention. Because all I'm hearing is "bahhh! bahhh! bahhhhhhh!"

You_Fool, the notion that politically correct language isn't frequently taken to a ridiculous extreme is ridiculous on its face. Trying to score personal points or validate some psychological need to trash talk someone anonymously online hardly provides argument to the contrary.

CNN takes money from foreign governments to cover up stories. Piers is literally retarded. Enough said. I think it's wrong to make fun of the mentally challenged.

You can call me any names you want. The fact is that the Obama administration took NO disciplinary action for proven (photo evidence) rape and other torture at Abu Graib. There are photos of some of the torture and multiple testimonies (unconstested) of what other other tortures unreleased photos prove.

No conspiracy theory about it. There's public record proof of torture and uncontested testimony that unreleased photos show much worse torture. Obama disciplined nobody over the matter. He won't even let us know what happened.

Obama's failed "fast and furious" program, pushing guns to illegal buyers, has been proven to be the source of guns used in murders on both sides of the border. Illegal gun sales Obama pushed have been traced. No contest. No doubt. The program resulted in the illegal sale of weapons which were used in hundreds, perhaps thousands, of murders. The Obama administration has claimed "executive privilege" in response to requests for information, proving they had knowledge of the operation (which they lied about). Obviously they couldn't have documents about the program if they had no knowledge of the program.

No conspiracy theory about it. Hundreds, perhaps thousands dead, and admission that the Obama administration has documents about the operation. Obama disciplined nobody over the matter. He won't even let us know what happened.

Obama's officials touted the line that there was a "protest" over a video which was presumed the cause of the death of the US ambassador in Libya. Turns out, literally all testimonies of personnel in the know show that nobody ever believed that. The Obama administration lied to the American people about the assassination of our ambassador. And NO witnesses who were there in Libya have been made available to Congress for its numerous investigations of the matter.

No conspiracy theory about it. Not only did Obama administration officials lie about the events of the night of Stevens' murder, they've taken action to prevent Congress (and the press) from having access to witnesses to ascertain the truth. Despite these, a multitude of sources have come out to contest all of the Obama administration lies. There were more than a hundred armed personnel in the city that night and more ready to board a plane to go there. They were ordered to stand down. Obama disciplined nobody over the matter. He won't even let us know what happened.

You haven't contested a single fact I claimed, nor a single thing I've said. Just vaguely called me names, without the nerve to actually state disagreement with anything I've said. You call me a nut. Why? What facts have I claimed which are not verifiable? You won't state any, because I can cite sources for everything I've said. And I would do so if you questioned any specific statements I have made. And it would get old very quickly and it would become obvious very quickly that nothing I've said is disputed. (The facts--The reasoning has all been mine, though you've disagreed with none of that either.)

You can't offer me an alternate explanation of why the Obama administration overlooked and even covered up major blunders/corruption yet supposedly fired some of its top nuclear commanders for relatively minor infractions of military policy. You've just demonstrated this by name-calling in place of responding to what I posted. Nobody is fooled. Nobody is distracted. The point stands, and you haven't even attempted to argue against it.

If our government has anything to say to our military regarding the use of a word to describe a religious tradition, our government is too big and our military is doing things it shouldn't be doing.

The PC police are going stronger than ever, Key. It's an instrument of control. Say something not PC and government sets their payed-for media and other various activist hounds (these hounds owned by the same people who own government officials) on you.

I'm confused. His OP uses US statistics and claims that "liberals" "wish for this to be a law."

I don't know what "this" is, nor do I know who wants it to be law where. Did a child write about it on a blog? Did someone actually propose legislation somewhere? If so, who, where? If it was the child's blog (or something like that), why are we talking about it and why should we care?

The cause of liberty is only hurt by ramblings about imaginary threats we must oppose. We literally don't know what you're talking about because you haven't given us any information.

Oh, I thought of an alternative explanation. Perhaps the Obama administration ordered those scandals they covered-up. That would explain why they didn't want to ruin anyone's career and risk them spilling the beans on where their orders came from.

Of course, considering that the cover-ups include the rape of minors, illegal international gun sales, and murder, the explanation that the Obama administration ordered them hardly gives us less reason to doubt the official reasons for firing so many high ranking nuclear commanders. This explanation is horrifying and gives us far more reason to suspect that the Obama administration might be firing anyone who opposes their program of arse-kissery, militarizing police forces in America, and making sure everyone's on board with shooting at American citizens if ordered.

(87 replies, posted in Politics)

That's naive and silly.

Someone on top wanted him dead. Maybe he had cold feet about arming Syrian radicals. He's dead so he can't talk. Mission accomplished.

Who else could order such a cover-up? No one.

Therefore my hypothesis has no rational challenges at this time.

Why are we talking about this?

The technology isn't there for the vast majority of Americans. The cars aren't yet capable of what we require. Anyone who advocates wasting [Edit: government] money on this stuff before the technology is there doesn't care about the public good.
