he missed the first vote (like it didn't matter much) and has been somewhat iffy. Considering KT said she swears on her cats that she isn't mob then I'm convinced she's not.
wow....I actually made this thread? I thought that was a dream lol
Ok I'm back with a new collection of movies that you should/shouldn't see!
Slumdog Millionaire
(Drama, In theatres)
"The story of Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who is about to experience the biggest day of his life. With the whole nation watching, he is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating; how could a street kid know so much?"
I was pleasantly surprised about this movie. I didn't really care to see it, nor did I really understand what it was about or how it could even be worth an academy award nomination but I was mistaken. This movie was one of the better movies I've seen in a while. It's not your typical cliche story with empty characters. It actually was a pretty good story. Especially for an independent film. I don't really wanna go into detail about the movie but I think anyone who has some time on their hands should check it out. It's a really good movie.
5 out of 5 stars easily
Role Models
(Comedy, on DVD)
"Danny and Wheeler are two salesmen who trash a company truck on an energy drink-fueled bender. Upon their arrest, the court gives them a choice: do hard time or spend 150 service hours with a mentorship program. After one day with the kids, however, jail doesn't look half bad."
I saw this one yesterday and it was a lot funnier than I thought it'd be. If I had to compare it with something, I'd say it was around the same level as superbad with superbad having the edge. It's a very fun movie if you like crazy random stuff and lots and lots of profanity. LOTS of profanity lol
3 out of 5 stars
Changeling
(Drama, on DVD)
"A mother prays for the return of her kidnapped son. When her prayers are answered, however, she begins to suspect the boy who comes back is not her child. Inspired by true events that took place in Los Angeles in the 1920s"
I saw this movie for the hell of it and I have to say that I was disappointed. I mean...it was a good story and plot. Well...it was a true story and plot lol But I think Angelina Jolie's acting in the movie was overrated and that she probably should not have been up for an academy award. It's an easy movie to put your attention into due to the fact that it has you wondering wtf is going to happen next. But as the story got better, Jolie's role became lamer and lamer. Like...I can't believe this woman was so weak and such a pushover. Perhaps I'm being biased but it's just not the best drama that I've ever seen. It's a decent chick flick I guess. Very sad and emotional story. I got teary eyed at the end that's for sure but angelina should probably stick to familiar roles.
3 1/2 out of 5 stars.
Max Payne
(Action, on DVD)
"Max Payne is a maverick cop--a mythic anti-hero--determined to track down those responsible for the brutal murders of his family and partner. Hell-bent on revenge, his obsessive investigation takes him on a nightmare journey into a dark underworld"
I didn't even finish the movie so it's quite possible that the ending of the movie was insanely spectacular and incredible that it completely overshadows the beginning and middle which sucked. This movie is more proof that 9/10 movies that are based on games suck.

That's all for now, more to come soon
I'm still trying to figure out the first post in this thread. From where I sit, it's a 50/50 shot that Iran either agrees or disagrees to terms of peace. Why is it so stupid to try it? I'm not a politician or anything so perhaps I'm missing it =p
yeah I gotta say, it's kinda weird for a guy to make a comment out in the open like that. No straight guy likes to even have those thoughts in their head =/
He can't, his only source would have to either be:
1. Obama himself
2. Another government official in the white house
3. himself in the future
I seriously doubt it was a news media source considering he just made a thread a few days ago saying how those sources weren't credible.
Hmmm, maybe I'm not understanding the extent of the problem but it would seem to me that the united states should be doing anything and everything possible to take care of its veteran soldiers. I'm not exactly fond of the idea of war and such but I know that everything we have has been a result of the people who fought in wars and protected us even when we weren't in war.
So wait, let me get this straight. Trying to make peace and end hostile actions in an entire continent is being an idiotic leader?
lol it surely seems so =p
How's your NCAA brackets looking? I got 13 out of 16 correct picks so far. None of the 3 that lost hurt me though. Oh and UNC dominating in the first round looks good on my prediction for them to win it all =p
I'm 1/3 irish!
lol I still don't know who he is
=O
Hurry up and make it wednesday!
Hmmmm, I could go into the web and find something, but as I think about it, it's quite possible he was blaming the democrats more so than Obama, but in any case, it doesn't matter. It's all speculation and media no matter which way the finger gets pointed!
Oh I most certainly am!

Now, I have heard that he has perpetuated the crisis at hand by basically scaring people shitless, saying we're headed for a huge economic crisis. If you're talking about this, then I dare you to explain how this helped the economy, instead of just using a fallacious causation argument.
lol You must have never heard of rush limbaugh
lol This is so mean Ilu
Obviously this is propaganda. We're having a civil war soon!
