Obama wants to steal wealth and enrich the State, in the guise of "creating opportunity" and that just undermines the State.  The US govt is not big enough to cover every risk taken in our economy.  And anybody who will line up for money they didn't earn is morally bankrupt.  So they deserve what's coming, too bad the rest of us who know better will have to ride downhill with them.

in 1932 "unemployment" was 33%.  That's govt counting "people who look for work and can't find it"  its not people who gave up--and it's NOT the 50% of the adult population who was FEMALE and staying at home in 1932 so the % of the adult population not earning an income in 1932 was more like 70%.  People ate soup for two meals a day and meat was a luxury.  Even in the 1980s as I said my parents sewed our clothes to make ends meet.  bitching taht you have to work 5 days a week instead of sippin' booze in a timeshare in Maui is WHINING.  bitching that you file bankruptcy, lose the house and go back to living in an apt is WHINING.
