Very good idea.  I had the intention to make a separate page for this (at some point) and make it accessible.

This seems like a good idea to do in the interim.

Edit: Tagpointed!

I think I identified one of the problems, well...contributing factors, rather

The 'by Torqez' for creator of a thread, is on a new line, as opposed to same line as the Topic.  As a result, row in the forums, seems double spaced.

First of all, great work on getting this upgraded smile

Feedback:
- Closed topics seem a bit hard to distinguish now.  (Used to be greyed out in old forum).
- In general, it seems the avatar and 'information' (e.g. time, report/award buttons, title bar, signature, etc) of a post seem to outweigh the actual content of the post.  Not sure if it was like this before, (perhaps its jsut the colour scheme outlining it a bit more) but it makes it a little difficult to sift through all the 'clutter'.

Awesome job Pie!

We know you've been working extremely hard behind the scenes to get this going.  Lord knows how much easier if there was an 'upgrade' button somewhere tongue

Excellent work!

Havn't read the posts yet, but I like where this is heading, cos it's something I've also mentioned before.

I've always liked the idea of 'unlocking' stuff, and progressing researach.

Poor Arby, was so excited to see like 2-3 kills a night.  Yet the last two have only brought 2 kills total tongue

What's the point of #1? I mean, what information are you trying to retain?  I'd rather much more be interested in storing things like the EOR Rankings, key stats (most captured planets, most incomes, etc etc) and qualitative stories (like you are doing with he Wiki - props!).  Raw family news data? Can't see the benefit of it as such.

#2, don't agree with this.  What a fam does during a round, is their own business (and their allies, if relevant).

A warning would definitely be nice.  Flat out restriction, not as nice - cos what was described should still be viable tactic.

Could be a nice lil time saver, but i think not 'that' useful or not that often used.  I mean, its not as if you have units constantly building or anything.  If you've built them, you kinda know how many and when they're gonna come in (roughly).

I think its already long enough.

Better would be to reduce number of systems, I think.

Agreed, very nice idea - and something I can see a lot of value in.

Before it was nice to name planets funnily and themed etc, but now need to be named for function (given usually ppl have 100s of planets).
