I don't think this belongs into politics. This is more of a community matter. And it won't get attacked or mocked there either.

"A whole lot of witing which could have gone to the politics forum."
I did not start the discussion. I was provoked. I felt the need to defend myself here, unlike the post I made in politics.
"Not as someone seeking to attack me, though your elitist attacks are noted, not as someone who made me almost jump of a bridge."
What you're saying is that I don't attack you, but I do? Surely this is only possible on a sub-atomic level
There's a difference in feeling offended in what I say and me insulting you.
Also, I think I don't have to defend myself for being arrogant and agressive. These last posts clearly show that you hold a grudge against me, rather than me against you. You're the one whe felt the need to insult, dismiss my arguments a priori and probably soon asks for my removal from the fmod team. I could have asked for a forum ban for openly insulting me and trolling, however I haven't. Call me elitist, but I do think I hold the moral higher ground here.
"Your beneath my notice. Your a nothing, and I do not need to speak to a nothing."
Add me to the list in your signature then. For me it merely means, like SD pointed out, that you just can't deal with different ideas.
And thanks SD!
Thanks for proving my point, Flint.
You proved exactly that you consider everyone with a different opinion than yours as stupid, unintelligent and whatnot. Hence my opinion that discussing in politics is pointless and when I have better things to do, like studying for university exams or working on my masterpaper, I use (what appears to be elitist) the privilege to spend my time on those. I thought it was rather generous of me to not keep that article for myself, as politics is about debating and that article could result in a nice one. Arguing my intelligence just shows you were ready to dismiss everything I would have said immediatly.
About your state of mind, I do applause a man who manages to recover from suicidal depressions. I never claimed otherwise, but don't claim that you're alone in such a situation. I lost several friends these last few years, of wich one committed suicide. So don't slap me with your superior number of years in this world, as I had at least quite a share of these mental issues you use.
But you can NOT use it as an allround excuse for every single thing you regret or anyone in this community holds against you. That is truely the insult you send out to other people who have or had a depression (a category I consider myself a part of)..
And finally about my politic views: I do support them and they're not parrotted from anyone else. My family and most of my friends have a completely different set of ideals than me. I've never had a strong unified political voice until a few years ago. I've done quite a lot of voluntary work in different aspects of it and saw some tragedies, great spirit and hope. I have studied economics for several years and although it was not as thorough as I wanted, I don't think one could claim I lack the knowledge to have a debate about it. I've drawn several conclusions from all this and found out it fits the european democratic socialist ideas rather well.
Claiming it's parrotted is ridiculous. It simply means you do exactly what you blame me for: not remembering the person's background and past.
"Because you are brain damaged and cannot defend your arguments wfs?"
Rather the opposite, Flint. Sometimes I feel like I'm explaining quantumphysics to toddlers (How does one explain modern leftism when other people can not leave their old assumptions about it behind?). Unlike you Flint, I never had to make claims about my intelligence to get a point across. You take your republicanism as a religion and consider everything that doesn't fit it as unintelligent and even an abomination. It's not much different from "Extra Ecclesiam nullas salus".
It's remarkable how you made different claims to support different ideas. We had "I'm a security expert", "I'm a math scientist" (oh the play on words we could do here!), "I'm a politician", and now we have "I'm a truck driver".
We have a saying for that and that's: twelve jobs and thirteen accidents. We don't know the exact circumstances of those jobchanges, but it does not make you look as the intelligent bloke you claim you are, but as a failure who can't keep a job. The social appreciation of these jobs is not really improving either (wich, I'd like to stress, doesn't say anything at all). Make your claims and call me dumb all you want, Flint. If you don't take yourself serious anymore, who will?
And thanks Justinian!
And you actually wonder why I don't post in politics anymore?
Now now, Flint, don't start using insults or you'll lose your much used whining-rights.
I don't feel morally obliged to defend what I said in that thread Chris. I can't bring up the effort to try to close another gap that some people create by dismissing any other angle to look at things a priori.
I thought it was a nice thing a sociology professor proved my social and economic ideas. And that was what I wanted to say.
It was more than Flint ever accomplished; his closest case was his compression algorithm that's supposedly backed by "two math scientists". Yet that man uses every obligation to call me ignorant and stupid (oh sweet irony!).
Yes, Flint. What a horrible smash that was!
Crystal Castles - Celestica
This can be done in the other thread; I'll consider this one spam
Final Fantasy usually is a good title, although the last one had a load of criticism over it..
Then why isn't it productive yet Flint?
And now Mark Twain's autobiography is going to be published!

Hurrah!
Is nurse some sort of eufimism in your case Fokker?
Crystal Castles - Celestica
Heavy rain is rather good, I've been told.
You're always free to ask in whatever country.. Responses might vary though.
I heard something along those lines, I'll ask. But that's a huge difference though.
Flint, you have no idea what you're talking about. Perhaps the idea of Sweden as the ultimate sex-country got stuck in your tiny corner of your country, but it's not true. In fact prostitution is forbidden in Sweden, but only the customer can get arrested.
It was going in circles from the very start. I gave up halfway through the first series. Surprisingly, I could follow the story rather well when I overheard people talking about it..
I have no clue what happened in the last season though. So, could anyone fill me in (briefly)?
Cause she won't get any answers there. There would be comments on how evil state funded health care is, and then Flint would drag Obama into it and it degrades into just another thread on how bad any leftist-ish idea is. And they'd ignore decent arguments and proof in the process. ![]()
And then we reach the final phase, wich is downright trolling and insulting.
A friend of mine went on Erasmus to Sweden, met someone and lives there now. I might get her in touch with you..
The Kills - Goodnight bad morning
At least that's what Sociologic Professor Richard Wilkinson claims:

and
http://www.apache.be/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/RichardWilkinson.gif
Professor Richard Wilkinson proves that more economic equalility is great for the economy all around. It decreases social and health problems in such a high ratio it surpasses the gains of a pure laissez-faire economy. Once more, wealth distribution seems far better than a laissez-faire pure capitalist economy.
