we are the only animal to do alot of things banksy.... drinking milk is not the one that stands out the most...
well my principles for nutrition atm is basicly to eat balancedly:
I try not to overeat on carbs such a pasta, rice and potatoes
I try to eat lean meat and/or fish (Chicken, good quality meat, not bacon or meat paste, no sausages)
I eat as little sugar as i manage, but ofc theres some. For snacks i try to eat fruit and vegetables, i often eat frozen berries for treat.
Regarding dairy i dont really drink much milk, as i just dont like it, i do however use some handy low fat dairdy products that have a high content of proteins, examples: quatk(kesam) or cottage cheese.
Oh and i try to drink abundantly with water and lately ive even tried to get enough sleep!
I am tedious about what i eat teddy, my gf whom i live with studies medicine and nutrition, so i do eat quite healthy, atleast now i am
. Dark bread, chicken, salads, water cofee, fruit etc.
But tbh i doubt people would be interested in my meal plan
just know i do consider what i eat, just i allow myself a hotdog and a coke after 5 hours on the bike ![]()

Yesterdays workout: Had an easy start on flat ground, after i ran/walked uphill on a mountaintrail and kept running over the top and back home again. Medium pace and overall time around 1,5 hours.

I Agree that cycling and running isnt the same sport, but at my level im pretty sure it wont hurt too much.
For running i do mostly kinda long runs, i find it difficult to get motivated for such workouts as intervalls, and as im training for half-marathon anyways, i am atm trying to put as many kilometers in into my legs as possible.

I have always been exercising and doing sports, like 1-3 days a week, but since i started working last year, ive had significantly less time to play IC and exercise, and thus its going downhill!
Recently my girlfriend has taken to running, aiming for a marathon in a year or so, and the unthinkable scenario is getting close, she might actually outrun me!
Sooooooooooo.... I thought this would be a good project to keep me motivated! Help me out, comment on my training, give me tips, and yell at me if a skip training!
I mostly do running, but since i just bought a new roadbike, i try to get out on it as much as possible aswell. I will try to run 10km and time it within a few weeks, to get you an idea on where i stand. My long term goal is a half-marathon in october (i have got to beat my 3 younger brothers) and the said marathon in a year and a half.
So i will list my workouts, divided into weeks as i go through them, and give short comments:
Week 1:
Thuesday: Long ride by bike, 113km over 5 hours. At the end of the trip i swear i thought my legs were gonna fall off, and i had to make an emergency stop at a gas-station for a hot-dog and a bottle of Coke. Was good to get on my new bike and test it, however the seat is killing me and it really hurt my butt to get to work the rest of teh week.
Thursday: Easy running, 20 minutes of slow warmup and then 20 minutes on the lactic acid thresdhold. Legs still tired from the bikeride, but ok.
Sunday: Easy running, 20 minutes of slow warmup and then 20 minutes on the lactic acid thresdhold. Should really have managed a longer run, but the weather was snowstorm-ish and lack of motivation..
