"The jury finds that she did not pay attention while crossing a busy street, however the busdriver should have anticipated that according to the jury."

According to British law all drivers have to do this; pedestrians have right-of-way.
Doesn't cover you if you just walk out without looking though.

It is amazing how long "We only show them were it is, it's not our fault is they do something illegal with it" lasted as an excuse.

I hope that the Americain destroyer that is en-route fires on any vessel leaving Somalia.
Their country may have fallen, but that is not a reason for turning to piracy.

Vista is like my ex-wife:

Nice to look at, but it has so many issues you can't do a damn thing with it except watch in amazement as it demands half of everything you have to do absolutely nothing.

And then when it leaves your life it takes the other half of everything you have with it, because somehow it is your fault it is sow screwed up.

Windows 7 is like my current girlfriend:

Interested in more important things than looks and is so stable you might want it to stay around forever.

"Everyone knows" eh? Just like "Everyone knows" that Mary Magdalene is really the mother of Jesus? Everyone knows that one...
Everyone knows... what a crap reason to believe something! Everyone knows Elvis is alive, everyone knows he faked his death, everyone knows he works at the Tesco down the road.... or is it the Petrol Station up the road?
Or is it all a load of [poopy] considering that even if he had faked his death he would now be, what, 99?

Wow... ramble...

What if, 4 billion years ago, a Galactic Overseer pulled over onto what would become Earth, for a shit?
Imagine that! All life as we know it came from one of Stefan's arse-bacteria.

What? If I understand the theory of evolution correctly it's possible.

  I don't care.
Even if they were dumb enough to actually nuke anyone, the response would crush them and they know it. Hell, France is a larger nuclear threat than Iran.

I smoke pot.... probably not a good Idea given my mental "health" but... meh.
I don't drink alcohol (I've had 2 bottles of ale in the last 6 months).
I don't smoke tobacco (Only use it to mix with pot).
I don't eat fast food (mainly because I know what goes into it).

In fact most of the "smokers" I know are some of the healthiest, smartest, hard working people I've ever met.
The drinkers are complete dicks.

Blondes FTW

This Blonde Ran Over A Mattress On The Highway
And Decided Not To Worry And Kept Driving.

The Ensuing Jumble Finally Whipped Around Enough to
Tear A Hole In The Fuel Tank.

The Subsequent Lack Of Fuel Is What Finally
Brought Her Vehicle To It's Knee's.

She Had Still Managed To Drive 30 More Miles
With A 60 Pound Tangle of Stuff Wrapped
Around Her Driveshaft.

She Had It Towed To Her Dealership And Complained
That The Vehicle Had A " Sort Of Shimmy "
When She Was Driving At High Speeds.

Below Are The Photo's Of What They
Found At Her Dealership....................

The Last Photo Is By Far The Best.

> Yes, but that's a shift from the advocacy this argument is indicting.  Skoe said that there should NOT be discrimination based upon mental stability in choosing politicians, in exchange for that knowledge being public.  My argument was that the discrimination would inevitably occur. <

Discrimination inevitably occurs anyway, but not so much in the UK I think. For example, we never made anyone quit his job just because he chose to doink his sexy secretary rather than his frumpy wife (yes, we did know).
We only discriminate agains people who deserve it, like the tit who swore on his job that Iraqi WMDs were real.

Or maybe this is all down to my own unique thought processes? Maybe I am the only voter on earth who considers what actually matters?

A woman an a man are alone together.
If the woman intentionally gets rolling-drunk while she is alone with the guy, is that implied consent?
What if the woman is rolling-drunk and the guy is sober when they have sex, is that rape?

Men May Face Jail If She Is Drunk:
http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23379673-details/It's+rape+if+the+woman+is+drunk,+according+to+new+law/article.do
__________

Recently a woman drank five bottles of wine, performed a sex act on a guy, helped the guy undress himself, helped the guy undress her, and then doinked him like the world was about to end. When she woke up she apparently decided that if she was too drunk to remember doing all of this then she must have been too drunk to know what she was doing when she gave consent, and therfore was raped.
The Jury, made mostly of women, told her to jog on.

What I'm wondering is: if yes, you can be too drunk to be held accountable for the consent you give, then what about being too drunk to be held accountable for the death of the man you kicked 57 times outside of the nightclub last saturday? Too drunk to be held accountable for the child you ran over on sunday? Is being drunk an excuse for anything, or is it about time we all grew grown-up spines and learned to not pass our limits?
