Topic: Here sumthin to think about..((Jesus))

I just heard a very believable story about Jesus. Its a book called the lost bible which had Jesus childhood aka the missing years. Also, the lost bible it says Jesus's mother Mary and Mary Magdalene were good at making herbs. While, Jesus was on the cross Marry (his mom) and Mary Magdalene give Jesus a herb to put him to sleep so he wouldnt feel any pain. Back then in Jewish tradition were to back the legs of the dead and to buried they died in the morning. But, Mary and Mary Magdalene paid so that they didnt break Jesus legs and to have him buried at night. After they put Jesus into the his tomb they give the guardains the same herb to put them to sleep. Meanwhile, Mary and Mary Magdalene took Jesus and moved to France. There Mary Magdalene and Jesus were married and had a child(a son).

Tell me what u think about that? Doesnt it sound believable.

cloud thinks god speaks to him

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

I think Cloud meant that he feels a personal relationship with God, not that he gives him orders. Of course, I think this personal relationship with God stuff is similar to the imaginary friend you had in elementary school. We can make people up and feel attached to them in the same way we do real people. But then again, I can't know for sure. I'm not experiencing what Cloud experiences.

.
Roman: How would the poor son of a carpenter have a tomb?
Jew: Why would the madman get a tomb?
Disciple: Why would the son of God need a tomb?
.
Just a thought.

Re: Here sumthin to think about..((Jesus))

I think the answer would be:
Roman: Jesus was getting more fame and power than the king, so why not?
Jew: To honor their personal religion.(Jesus was a jew)
Disciple: The dead body or remains of the Son of God would have been the place everyone would had went to pray.

I believe this story.. Jesus could had went to France and married Mary Magdalene. Everyone know Jesus loved her. I think if Mary and Mary Magdalene could had help Jesus she would do everythin she could

"I just heard a very believable story about Jesus. Its a book called the lost bible which had Jesus childhood aka the missing years."

What we're talking about is more of a missing life.. the oly thing we know about Jesus is that he caused enough trouble to get crucified. For the rest is no historical evidence whatsoever.

This text is just another stab in the dark by some random person tongue
People were cruified in the Roman Empire everywhere for ages on end. I sort of assume they perfected the practice by Jesus' time... There's no source known telling us about any crucified person escaping (at least not that I know of), I think that is sort of an indication. People want Jesus to have survived the cross, but chances are rather against it wink

Re: Here sumthin to think about..((Jesus))

I think if Jesus was really the son of God he would be able too.
There are chances that ppl could of surive.

I think the chances of Jesus being the son of God are about the same as Peter Pan really going to never never land and leading a group of lost boys in a struggle against a peodophilic pirate

What SD means is:

He is alone in that, though.

This forum is stupid.

Not a sexy cock though sad

Re: Here sumthin to think about..((Jesus))

im suspicious of any story that relies on calling a piece of text "the lost bible".

Fixed for trooths.

Re: Here sumthin to think about..((Jesus))

gospels said it was a donated tomb from joseph of arimathea.  jews would have stowed him somewhere, they didn't let people rot above ground.

yeah a second-person account is "historical evidence".  I mean, you don't have any autobiographical writings from Charlemagne or Pope Leo III testifying the one was crowned Emperor by the other....

"Everyone knows" eh? Just like "Everyone knows" that Mary Magdalene is really the mother of Jesus? Everyone knows that one...
Everyone knows... what a crap reason to believe something! Everyone knows Elvis is alive, everyone knows he faked his death, everyone knows he works at the Tesco down the road.... or is it the Petrol Station up the road?
Or is it all a load of [poopy] considering that even if he had faked his death he would now be, what, 99?

Wow... ramble...
