idk probably haha. just make sure at the end of the year you send her the 1099 form for the irs instead of a w2. if shes an employee then you might have workers comp laws to worry about but not sure what the law is there with that. sometimes people that are independent contractors are considered employees if they have too many ties to the employer such as direction and control and whether or not they work in your office or at home etc
