um render is not American, so don't taunt him with American racism

>>It was only 50-60 years ago that a black man could be shot by the police for stealing a can of soda in America, dont be so quick to dole out judgements.<<

actually if you are stealing anything a cop will stop you. and then, in that confrontation, if you move wrong, white or black, you're dead.  Because rapists and hit men do not get caught by SWAT teams who do commando raids on their headquarters.  They get caught running stop signs and shoplifting and shoving people in parking lots.  That trivial offender can be wanted in six states for class A felonies. And if they are, they are going to be looking for a way to beat the arrest.  They will not want to be locked in a cell for stealing beer when the FBI answers the Sheriff that their fingerprints match those posted all over the country.

So everybody taken into custody is watched like they are going to shoot their way clear.  And if you are stupid enough and mad enough to act the tough guy you will be lucky to just get roughed up.

>>@Walking_Corpse

None of the official inquiries discovered any actual wrongdoing on the part of the UEA scientists. Their worst crime, apparently, was that their methodology could have used improvement. It was not nearly the scandal that the media had portrayed it to be.<<

That could be said of Nixon's Committee to Re-Elect the President.  As one critic points out, the official enquiries started at UEA and ended at UEA.  Unsuprisingly they didn't poop in their own nest.

Working to deny professional publication of opposing viewpoints harms other scientists. If your work can't get published then it doesn't matter if it is totally correct; it is alway second-rate, "not yet peer-reviewed" and thereofre, in the current polarized climate, it is easily dismissed by opponents.  They openly said that was the purpose of choking off professional review, and the UEA investigation did not ask the targets of this conspiracy how they were affected; it asked the conspirators if they were seriously guilty.  They refused to plead guilty.

I cant agree that deliberately fudging calculations to influence public policy is ever merely a "methodological error".  It is fraud. these guys are crooks.  If you like you can tell them I said so, and let them sue me, and I won't rely on limpwristed inquiries to prove it.

if the Moors subjugating Spain adn trying to subjugate France has nothing to do with their religion then why give MUSLIMS credit for the "enlightened" government of Al-Andalus?

well if they followed the constituiton they shouldnt have a mosque

they should have 300 people in one persons front yard, praying

and all the neighbors would be yelling at them

and the governor would call out the National Guard

but they wouldn't be allowed to sleep indoors

and the Governor would have to buy houses to let the troops sleep in them

I don't know that it makes any practical difference whether a hostile autocratic political system erected around a core of religious tradition is something totally unique, or whether it's the flip side of Western autocratic political systems erected around a core of religious traditions.

It's still a hostile autocratic political system.

we have muslim enemies because we are not muslim and are glad and we say so.  That's it.  Spare me the intricate details.  I can point to gay marriage and interest on loans and aid to Israel and aid to Greece and aid to Russia (you know we are hand and glove with Russia? and who invaded Afghanistan? DUH DUH DUH ) and voting for UN calls for respect for homosexuality and our beer and our pork and our movies full of christian churches and christian weddings and heathen sex and disrespectful kids.

I do not care to change one thing about America to make a friend overseas.  And if that makes some people violent, let them breathe flame.  ALL of them.
