@yell
cause it will be a problem if they decide to put import taxes on our products.

"France starting to stumble under the weight of their tax the rich plans"
To name that as a single cause of bad econ is ridiculous. Even the predictions of his own party speak of 210 million euro. There are many other reasons for bad econ. Esp in France, lol.

"Greece is falling under the sway of Nazi/White Power types as the population more and more blames immigration for their woes."
I'm afraid so. Feels like the good old choose between the reds or fascists. People never learn.

"More than 50% of Britons would choose to suceed from EU if a referendem was started."
To many of the top class have interests in Europe. It will never happen.

"Spains economy and Government teeter on the verge of collapse."
true

The Catolina question gains steam thanks to the lack of a smackdown on the Hamas request for nationhood of Palestine and threatens to rise to other such efforts.
I doubt it. Most of the Catalans are still against independence.

"Merkel is suffering losses in her parties control of Germany slowly but surely."
But polls predict the opposite.

"Talks have happened on how to do an exit for Greece from the EU."
I hope so.

"The United States, Russia, and China are suing the EU for their obviously illegal airline tax scheme (which the EU needs for revenues...)"
This is a minor dispute with to much media attention. There is always a fight going on over import taxes or the likes. It should be 0 between EU en US plain and simple.

All in all I think I agree with the majority of your points, except for the separations.

"Demand a recount!"
no, because I would contest it and ask a recount of the recount then contest it again!

...and the original effort was to much of a burden already.

@ps
Its possible.

Question is, was the fiscal crisis solved by those measures or because of other things? In the the end things went better for the entire world not just Germany. You can't blame this to a worldwide generation of fiscal geniuses.

Should the choice for president be decided by the total amount of votes?

1. yes
2. no the current system is the best
3. pick someone randomly between 5 and 90 years old, no matter state or gender. What are the odds its someone like obama or bush?
4. no there is a better system (then the total amount of votes system) but its not the current system.
5. The oracle will speak neo, you're the one Little Paul!
6. no, there is no better system at the moment, but something needs to change
7. (coming soon)
8. It should be decided like the tournment in Hunger Games.
9. ...

Altough I bet everyone will pick option 5 as I do, I take option 3 as next best.

The greenest car (except for one standing still or not even build), is one who can do the same miles and equal performance with less fuel and a lower energy cost to produce. So it uses classic fuel!

Electric cars are only good for short distances, slow driving, small cars and if it loads when you have to much electricity. If so, you then still have to question where this overproduction comes from (often a bad mix of powerplants) and eliminate this waste first.

to bad Putin wasn't it and they shot it down. sad

The Turks stopped a Russian plane. Clear message.

Iran is on the brink. The effect of the sanctions might be the final drop. Hunger has been the engine of the Arab spring.

@BeoWolfe
Its a guess. In any case it couldn't get much worse.

Its possible but its a huge risk as well. If it were the rebels chances are Turkey would be silent.

Its so easy to go on Obama cause he messed up almost everything. In that context its only a small victory. It also proves Romney is Obama II.

One example, The Belgian "green" party ruled a few years and became very little.(because ofc they s*****) The extreme right party was not allowed to participate and grew to huge proportions. No matter extreme left or right or whatever, there are countless examples like this.

546

(54 replies, posted in Politics)

You should not outlaw them, let them participate! Like rotten fruit, they die off.

What you do need is a system that gives these extremes no chances to make it non-democratic. That is very difficult, almost impossible, as we allow a great deal of corruption today but its our only chance.
