yeah anybody who regrets it can deed their house to a Native American tribe

but our exceptionalism is due to things we do uniquely, not argued by citing what everybody else does

Americans can wish you the best while we blow your damn head off! It's common politeness, we did it to the Krauts at the Battle of the Bulge

"Harper then put the German officers in a jeep and took them back to where the German enlisted men were detained. He then said to the German captain, "If you don't know what 'Nuts' means, in plain English it is the same as 'Go to Hell'. And I'll tell you something else, if you continue to attack we will kill every goddam German that tries to break into this city."

The German major and captain saluted very stiffly. The captain said, "We will kill many Americans. This is war." Harper then responded, "On your way Bud," he then said, "and good luck to you." Harper later told me he always regretted wishing them good luck."

he did a prayer service not an obese sinful Romanesque saturnalia of a feast!

Further you admitted in IRC that you can't get pumpkin pie before Halloween, rendering your feasting and your prayers ineffectual! You will be consumed like those krauts who opened the ark the bad way! or at least be infested by bureaucrats, snow and fat americans walking into your homes to prove a point

right, the fact that they had banners and crap, and people were filmed talking about this for a year or so, and they all have the same name of OCCUPY X, that's just all coincidence to the REAL STORY

Yeah I guess if a retired world master tells you you're the incarnation of Shiva and can only be killed by your alter-ego at the appointed time, you're bound to kick ass

if they are all like this, they are the weak. I don't know if you can stand 11 mins of this but it is most instructive.

Bullhorn guy has made them repeat everything they hear on the bullhorn, and shut up and wave hand signals

Bullhorn guy has been approached about letting a Congressman speak.  Bullhorn guy does not want the Congressman to speak.

Bullhorn guy takes  a comment from "the Block?" to send the Congressman away. That seems to be popular and Bullhorn guy proclaims consensus.

There is dissent.  Bullhorn man takes a comment in favor of the address, and one against it, and calls for a poll.  The crowd seems divided.

Recognizing the crowd is divided, Bullhorn man decides that the option he put to a vote a few minutes before (shut up Congressman) is in fact the DEFAULT, and the opponents have failed to build consensus against it. That's why I say he wanted it.

Bullhorn man then shuts down everybody rising to speak on the issue, and instead of hearing them, berates them for ignoring the democracy they approved by an earlier vote--they are betraying democracy by speaking their minds!

That's why I find this instructive, there's no money changing hands, no social influence, no coercion, just one slick asshole with a bullhorn who gets them to agree, in the name of democracy, to repeat everything he says and shut up by order.  Has any corporation ever got you doing that?

we can make rockets and the ny times archives tell you how to make nitrocellulose

as to guns, tanks and artillery, we'd get it the same way the Chechens did, by calling on the Army to surrender them

chechens captured 5000 Ruskis in the 1990s

and to start, a 'true crime' story

"The other day, I went into work and forgot that I left 2 Cowboys football game tickets on the front seat.

When I came out after work, my window was broken and I remembered I had left them in there.

Running up to my truck I looked in and sure enough, there on the front seat were 4 Cowboy's tickets."

he is so much more than dead, he is dead on twitter, while dead on facebook, dead on his blogs, and dead on his email.  Yet at the same time, he is dead to any incoming conference calls.  a few taps on the screen and his followers can find his funeral on googlemaps.  all of that with less effort than living people used to write a letter for snailmail.  not only does death link to all forms of social media and the internet, it is free and too fast to measure.  He's dead, globally, instantly.  Unlike life which had a caloric content and a set pulse rate, death is limitless and comes without a contract.  Death has a potential market of 6 billion people all of whom are unlikely to switch. Just don't all go on death at the same time or you crash the server.

@ Arfeh

like we say, "When seconds count, the police are minutes away"

btw I am opposed to concealed-carry.  Concealed carry is like being a serial killer "oooooohahahah you didn't know! you didn't know I had a GUN hahahahahaha BLAM BLAM"

I think it better if we were all openly armed like a Mexican bandito, then we'd radiate law and order in 360 degrees...even to people we weren't looking at, they'd see our shotgun, bandoliers and hip pistols and give up crime.  And impoliteness.
