It's fine. They took extra large bonuses before the bonus government money. Their regular salary is quite nice compensation. Then there's everything they can pocket. That's a lot of money to keep track of.

What's your problem? My buddies in the auto industry want to get a few more big bonuses before their companies run out of funds. Damn you if you don't support their private jets, $40 million boats, multiple mansions lifestyles. We owe it to them for running their companies so well.

You're just figuring this out now? tongue

The real shame is that it will most likely just result in more waste, as it usually does. Countries like China and India have benefitted from globalization because they have control over their economies by 1 force. In Amerika there are constantly fighting forces for more and less regulation that result in our regulations being a mutt that doesn't do anything well.

While less regulation is generally good, there are some areas where moderation is very useful. While that moderation is generally good, when it is put in place by a government comprised of two+ conflicting ideologies and the regulations reflect this (+billions in earmarks every time it is changed), the result is just waste, waste, waste. And it's all of our money. Wasted.

I described it as more of a mental disorder, Wild Flower Soul.

>>Avo's joke was a strawman. He misrepresented his opponent's position and then attacked it instead of addressing the true position the poster was putting forward.<<

He merely pointed out that his "opponent's" position did NOT explain adequate grounds to claim "DISCRIMINATION!" Which is all his "opponent's" position was.

>>Obviously, since you didn't see the segment, your opinion about it isn't informed, or relevant.<<

My brief comment was "obviously" about the man and his show, not a particular segment. Because the segment was on his show which I am very familiar with, my opinion is both relevant and informed. Thank you for taking the bait and calling his show real news analysis. I knew someone would after I said anyone who does is a retard.

TheYell summed up the level of "debate" that happens on his show. With his audience cheering when he says something half funny/half stupid in response. And you [his audience] all take that as totally PWNing. Whatever that means. I get PWNed in this game all the time. But  I'm still #3 in #1 fam. It doesn't MEAN anything.

>>The majority of you people are just homophobic bigots. Why are you all so threatened by two gay people being in love and getting married? It has no effect on your own lives whatsover. Get over it.<<

Exactly what I was talking about. All the crying, none of the reasoning.

>>No, gay marriage has nothing to do with you. Does my straight marriage have anything to do with you? No, it's between me and my wife. Such an illogical point...
<<

JUST after the drunk driving analogy! With NO response to it! Even MORE of all the crying, none of the reasoning!

Marriage is an institution determined by society to be whatever they want it to be.

No one's stopping anyone from living with whoever they want and loving whoever they want. The "right" to this institution which the people created belongs to whoever the people say it belongs to to marry whoever the people say can be married.

A focus on the actually intellectual argument instead of crying would be respectable, if not accepted. But we don't see much of that. Just idiots crying that they want what they want.

Homosexuals do not create families. It's just not physically possible through natural means. Families are the basis of our social and economic and societal fabric. Two gays living together and [having sex] aren't what perpetuates the species and prepares our young to become our working, our wise, our senior. They're just two unhealthy individuals doing what they do. There's no higher purpose. There's no higher good.

Cry about it all you want, a man and a woman are capable of forming a complete union which becomes much more than themselves. Homosexuals are not. Nothing cried about will change this.

Jon Stewart never touches subject matter. Only his retard fans think he's any sort of news analysis.

Avo's joke wasn't a strawman. He points out the inadequacy of the claim of discrimination.

All it takes is knowing a few guys from different special forces to know the shit they talk. tongue

Ooo ooo he might offer me free wooden teeth? I'm buying into your posts now!

Save money by focusing on navy and air force? Yeah, because our aircraft and ships aren't uber expensive. Good thinking!

China has the largest army in the world because they have the largest population in the world. They're willing to throw wave after wave at another nation's army to waste their ammunition. They've done it before; they'd do it again. What if we only counted the soldiers armed with a musket or better?

Yes. I'm certainly engaging you in a discussion, not talking down to you like a retard. You got it right.

lol @ yell. I do have a lot more thoughts on the subject (as avid a fan of the individual as I am; to each his own). a buddy asked me "what if it was your child?" once. puts it in perspective.

Just go away fokker. You're a stupid kid, and you're not capable of a discussion and I'm through having half of one. If I wanted to argue I would have kept at the retarded back and forth with you instead of ignoring you. Are you serious? Are you like 10? This is rediculous.

I think it's your lack of a grasp of the English language that led to such misunderstanding on your part. You don't even know what the words you're using mean. Quoting them doesn't help; you still don't get it.

PS. I love how your prize quote is that I've already tried to discuss it with you (and quoted you for this purpose) many times but you're just incapable of a discussion. Good job. Nobody cares about your respect. You're like 5. Honestly.

Angels or atoms? Moden science backs up its atom theory pretty damn well. But to you that's a good comparison? Maybe you just need an education :-p. Physics is fascinating stuff. It's the math that's a pain to learn!

Psychology is generally studied as empirically as possible. Its roots in science are what make it useful. Things like psychoanalysis tend not to be so scientific, but they are not the whole or the majority of psychology.

Isn't the same true of particle research? Otherwise they'd just be making stuff up. tongue

Granted, just as many will be quick to point out, a home with two loving parents (even if they're both men or women) is better by many measures than some sort of state run group home. But the adoption process in this country is royally []ed up. A lot of work ought to be done on it. The question here is the fundamental health of a child being raised in this unnatural environment. If you disagree with the word "unnatural," read above and get a science book.

>>And the US government is lacking in social welfare, and management of it's citizens.<<

It's the emergence of idiots who think like this in the US that threaten its current position. That many other nations embrace these self-righteously ignorant is why they're where they are and we are where we are.

I pray for my children's future.
