a lot of social species have guy populations. It would surprise me if it has no "Darwin"-explanation. People who do not compete for sexual reproduction yet deliver service to a group seems perfectly logical to me.

Also notice how guy people have some (dis/ad)vantages and other interests as straight people. It might sound discriminating but it simply is that way.

There are homosexuals because there are some genes that are beneficial to one gender and not for another, eg manifesting in homosexuality.

Anyway my argument against gay marriage is perfect and irrefutable. To say it more simply.

1. The only reasons for gay marriage are either as a formality or to give them equal benefits as heterosexual couples.
2. Legal marriage as strictly a matter of formality does not square with experience and would amount to pointless paperwork for the government.
3. When judging access to equal benefits, we need to test if gay couples satisfy the practical reasons that those benefits are given to straight couples. They fail that test.

exactly. Which is why you have an extra workforce in the group with less internal struggle. Internal struggle is beneficial to a certain extent for the survival of the group but only to a certain extend.

There isn't only the whole benefits to marriage side of the story.. there's also happiness, and as a society providing people with the chance to be happy. To many gay people being discriminated against is a large source of unhappiness.
Disallowing gay marriage is also a message the government sends that being gay is NOT okay, at least it will be interpreted as such by a large number of people.

Add this to the fact that happy people are productive people, and this will probably outweigh any extra costs that would have to be made in the form of paperwork etc, and there goes your financial argument.

Read my post on page 1. No one is being descriminated against. If there was a law that said "People who are attracted to the same sex are not allowed to marry people of the opposite sex" Then I would agree with you.

If being unable to marry who you want to have sex with is discrimination, then what about these people?
NAMBLA, (Yes they're an actual group. They emerged and allied with LGBT groups. Those LGBT groups later renounced ties with them when NAMBLA became politically unfashionable. Really their attraction is no different then homosexuality. They're after same sex relationships, with children)
And Zoophiles. Love your pet? Love to have sex with it? Can't marry it? Unhappy about not being able to marry it? DISCRIMINATION!

Ok i didn't even waste my time reading those ridiculous statements, it's not hard to take legit arguments and turn them into ironic statements of argumentative humor, does NOT change the value of the core legit arguement, and regardless of what you say :

The Anus is EXIT Only, if nature intended otherwise it would be self-lubricating as is the vagina, remember mother nature didn't know that today we could rely on Vasaline, KY, and AstroGlide. Sodomy with out lube is very dangerous and has results in death from tearing, and perforations - Thus not intended by nature.
