yep... stealing cant be against the law either, because religions are against stealing... it would be a violation of the separation between church and state...

yep... stealing cant be against the law either, because religions are against stealing... it would be a violation of the separation between church and state...
what does the fuss about abortion refunding have to do with separation of church and state?
your logic that because homosexuals in one society thousands of years ago were fierce warriors that homosexuals in a completely different society in the present day must be fierce warriors, is worse then the majority of flint's logic on this board...
i think Switzerland isnt part of the EU...
was that a response to my post? i thought i was ignored for life?
oh, thats right... you only use ignoring me for life as an excuse to ignore my arguments that invalidate your arguments...
Switzerland is primarily Catholic and protestant, is wealthy, is one of the most economically free countries in europe, has a direct democracy, where the citizens can and have voted down laws their legislature have passed, plus its a federation with strong regional rights which means if you dont like it in one of the regions, the laws will probably be drastically different in other ones.... only down side for you is english isnt a national language, i think its French, German, Italian, and Romansh.
true patriots.... wanting to abandon the country where they were born and raised....
2.7 hours doesnt sound feasible a year, but double that doesnt sound feasible either... obviously there is some distorting of teh truth going on...
i thought i have heard that drill technology has improved to the point, that they can drill deep enough to create geothermal plants just about anywhere...
i watched Fantastic Mr. Fox the other day, i liked it a lot, thought it was a great movie... certainly better then Avatar and Up imo...
trolling would be starting a thread "star wars sucks!"
trolling is provoking others into fights... i dont see how bringing up einstein's obesity, gives einstein cause for a fight.... its not like einstein can dispute his obesity.... so its not trolling...
did the guy say he tried to pull the pedal up with his hands? you can pull things with your feet....
also you know any person of any physic was not able to touch the pedal without squashing your head against the radio?
and if a technician can do it, it doesnt mean anyone shouldnt have a problem doing it. i can do loads with a pc that many people cant...
also, i have yet to hear anyone accuse toyota of anything in the OP, so Toyota wasnt falsely accused of anything...
how am i on einstein's ignore list, but Deci not?
i dont think mankind has the technology currently available to get Flint laid...
nice to see deci back posting... your last ban finally expire?
War is full of evil. the difference between the two is not one's actions is evil and the other is noble. its they are both evil; maybe one side is a little more desperate and have to behave a little more questionably and maybe its compounded by the greater similarities in cultures between the west and Israel then the West and Hamas/Hezbollah
this is a forum, i am talking to every reader... i was addressing flint's argument though...
the difference between Hamas/Hezbollah and Israel is that Hamas/Hezbollah are the oppressed and Israel the oppressor...
so if communists were conquering the US, you wouldnt make some questionable ethical actions inorder to defend the US? i doubt that, you already make questionable ethical actions...
does the added footage tack on a plot a 5 year old couldnt come up with?
yeah, you make a thread thats nothing but name callling and dps is the troll.... gotta love flint's logic...
labels are important and key to human communication. yes libertarian is a label; but virtually every noun, verb, and adjective is a label.... label is a label... its not about myths or lies, it is that there is an inherent flaw in communication because people have different lives and different experiences which makes for discrepancies in their labeling. intelligent people recognize this, and try to minimize it like i did when i provided a definition of libertarian...
for example, one day a mother feeds her toddler an apple. the toddler being naturally curious asks what the apple is, the Mom tells him its called an "apple". the kid then assigns the label "apple" to what he just ate, next day the toddler asks for an apple and the mother knows what he is referring to. is the apple label a myth or a lie? i dont think so....
As we grow up and become adults, labels are less black and white and much more complex. in certain situations, there are multiple labels for a single object some labels only being appropriate in certain circumstances. libertarian or conservative or liberal are some of those more complex labels. unfortunately some of us, like Einstein hasnt grown up and treats those labels like a toddler would.

At best, it has a vague definition which leaves itself open to interpretation, and leaves us in debates of guilt by association. At worst, it misrepresents who you are, forcing you to constantly clarify your perspective in semantics games...<<
like I said
myth, or lies?
this coming from the man who earlier in the thread was bitching about libertarians claiming to be conservative.... just like people of differing views are holding that they are conservative, the same is happening to libertarian...
i agree that there is a vague definition. and despite the thread being solely about libertarians.... the OP didnt seek to clarify, you never sought to clarify, i was the only one with the intelligence to define the word to enable a serious discussion... unfortunately, everyone else was too busy acting like toddlers to take the opportunity and make an adult point... Einstein for example was too busy making death threats, name calling, refusing to face points, and other childish behavior.
"1: The label you associate yourself with is also accepted by other people who you disagree with. You could theoretically just say "well, that makes me a libertarian and that person an idiot," but that person could do the exact same thing. The very purpose of the political label is to give us an understanding of what a person believes."
wrong.... i provided a definition, and if i say i fit that definition; and someone else calls themselves a libertarian that fits a different definition of libertarian; its just a disagreement in the meaning of a word, neither is necessarily wrong. yes, the meaning of the word is to give us an understanding of what a person beleives... but because of how political labels are vague, with many different interpretations of which word is, i defined the ideology to further clarify what im talking about
"1: Seriously? You didn't just say "I'm a libertarian, and libertarian means X" right before this?
2: Okay, I'll Pepsi Challenge you on this. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER call yourself a libertarian if you want to play this game. If I ever catch you calling yourself a libertarian (or, for that matter, calling yourself a conservative, liberal, or any other sort of overarching political ideology label), I'll respond "I win."
i seriously never said i was a libertarian in this thread...
and no, you would not win if i ever do. every political ideology is fairly vague. in some discussions, a vague description is all thats needed and is all thats appropriate inwhich case calling someone a libertarian would be appropriate. other times, you need to be much more specific. in this thread i elaborated on what i meant be libertarian, so i wasnt making the mistake you claimed i was... i did not use a loose umbrella term. i said "if libertarian means this specific definition, then.... "
