For me peak oil is where total ER minus EI is highest cause that is all that matters. Increasing efficiency has been a minor player so far and I guess it stays that way, but I can't predict the future.

hence oil is little cheaper and prices will decrease a while. It will mean economic growth soon, followed by prices above 120$ before you know it.

Obama didn't cause the crisis single handed but he made it far worse and prolonged it.

Well in 2003 she behaved like what they call there a "neo-liberal conservative" but since then she became more "social-democrat" over time. She even adopted some green points and went very far with it (like the new energy hype).

So its hard to classify her except as a flipfloper.

I think her current "allies" will not get the 5% but she is actually doing well in polls atm.
