reminds me of the SNL skit
"universal healthcare - obama wants to give healthcare to the entire universe, including Osama bin laden, we can't have a president that wants to keep bin laden healthy, -i'm john mccain and i approove this message"

and Einstein...regardless, he will still be spending more money in Iraq than Obama -- he will still be spending money on iraqis instead of americans...
and you failed to answer my question, where will John McCain get the money?

oh, ok, Mr. blind to everything democrats do. twisted words like someone supports big oil because he says he supports businesses...

gimme a break, it was a 95% white state(Iowa) that began his winning streaks in the primaries...

and this race isn't about race now..it's FINALLY about the issues, mostly the economy (thank god) and that is exactly why obama will win...

you really like making up lies, dont you? i dont think Obama is only guna win cuz he's black and i never said anything to support that.

and you're extremely small minded if you think this race isnt about race to many, many, voters.

Religion does convey ideas and feelings. the Bible and Quar'an is actually filled with artwork. the only truth values religions claim are metaphysical.

3rd parties are unpopular because they're viewed as throwing your vote away because there is 0 chance of them winning. the two primary parties arent made of people with uniform opinions, but you dont vote for the party, you vote for the individual and theres only 2 individuals you can vote for that might make a difference. third parties are also vilified for splitting the votes and making the party that resembles them more loose. 3rd parties cant even advertise in order to gain support because supporters are limited in how much money they can use to support them and often dont make it on the ballet in most states.

religion isnt a history lesson, there is no need for evidence to support it. science is about the physical, religion is about the metaphysical. its like saying drawing a heart the romantic way, <3 is wrong, its not wrong, its not supposed to be a technical map of the heart. religion isnt supposed to be a technical map of our history.

McCain didnt lie when he said Obama would raise taxes on Working families. because working families is any family that has someone thats employed. so if Obama raises taxes on anything, such as capital gains taxes, he's raising taxes on working families... sure, its stated in a way to make it look bad, but its an ad for join McCain and Obama does just as bad; you gotta expect a bias...

im tired of the  candidates. you got Obama and McCain this time around; 1 with no experience and no qualifications for being president other then being black and being a good public speaker. the other being old, and incompetent. then you got Bush and Kerry last time around, i dont think anything needs to be said about those choices. the time before that was Dole and Clinton... it just shows you, this is what happen when you support a lack of competition, we only have 2 parties, so we got shit choices for president.

reliability only comes after its known, experimentation in science, which is a huge part of science, is quite dangerous. and then even after experimentation, science is very dangerous, nuclear power being a prime example.

sure there are some religious people that are that stupid, but there are also people that believe in science that is that stupid.

[quantam "facs" player...help me out here Arnor,  player would be the direct object of the subordinate clause "that I remain at player"  "quod player stabo" but I'm stuck on the tenses, also "how many fbombs need I make" I forget how to conjugate for necessity,  "quantam fbombs quod player (acc?) stabo facit"??]

Just as proof that science, like religion, if bent to prove a man-made point instead of used to discover truth - is just as dangerous an entity in our search for knowledge tongue>>

Umm no. Science uses empirical proof to infer conclusions. Doesn't mean it's true, but its serves a much more practical purpose in achieving our desired outcomes than does religion. Religion is pointless in doing that.

he didnt say it was just as reliable as religion, he said just as dangerous as religion. and i think what he's saying is false, because its much larger threat to our search for knowledge then religion. for example, the largest threat to the human race is nuclear war, a creation made from trying to prove a man-made point and would end all search for knowledge.

[quo me solari defensam facem]? were they high?! take it off!

im gonna have to agree with VNP; your sexuality is programmed into you by society. different cultures find different things attractive in a mate. one could argue that gayness is an anomaly that deprives the individual from certain happiness that could normally achieve through producing their own offspring with a loving wife and that the government has just as much place trying to rehabilitate gay people as they do psychopaths.

as for people who say McCain picked Palin to get the Hillary vote; thats just stupid. when picking a vice president, you're going to pick someone thats strong in demographics you're weak. McCain didnt pick her for one tiny group, Palin obviously polled strong against a wide range of demographics including women, and he's no more rediculous for picking a young women as Obama is for picky an old whitey.

and its hilarious how people complain about her lack of experiencing! i rather have an inexperienced women thats vp just because she's a women then an inexperienced president thats president just because he's black and a good public speaker.

i dont know where you live, but in Michigan there is no lack of teachers, theres a surplus.

or you could smuggle in the hard drives. or if you're going across the border with your laptop, just remove the harddrive ahead of time, and if they ask for your laptop, give it to them without the hard drive.

"
On what basis?  Where I live police can't have unions but it's on the basis that a municipality can't afford to have it's police not working if there's a strike.  You can't say the same about schools.  Not saying it can't be done but there needs to be some rational basis for making teacher's unions illegal or I'm sure someone's going to contest the law.  I'm not sure who they'd contest to, Supreme Court I suppose."

i think you could use the same basis as police officers. a municipality cant afford to have its kids uneducated.

"If students follow the same pattern as teachers yes.  If however the case is that all the parents who can or want to send their children to private school are doing so increasing the number of teachers available changes nothing."

bigger private schools and a larger pool of teachers to choose from means cheaper rates for private school students meaning more people capable of going to private schools.

"
Except that schools, at least I'm fairly certain about this, receive funding based on the number of students.  So fewer students = less funding given with the surplus from all the teachers and students going private most likely being allocated elsewhere in the government budget."

i think its the federal funding thats dependent on the number of students, not sure though.

"Difficult as if I'm not mistaken unions in general are protected by the government so you would need to remove that protection from all unions before you could destroy the teacher's union and then keep it removed since as soon as they can they will start up another one.  Also teaching public school is not a fun job, I don't know many teachers who actually enjoy it, so without the perks the unions offer you will have fewer people willing to work in the public sector, opting instead for private institutions, leaving you with the people the private schools don't want and probably wanting a lot more money than they're making now."

no... all they would need to do is make a law making teacher's unions illegal...

if fewer teachers want to teach at public schools, and more want to go private, that will allow private schools to expand and multiply which is a good thing considering private schools do a much better job of teaching kids. with fewer kids and teachers, the public schools will be better off in funding, and they'll need to address the problems with their practices the makes kids and teachers gravitate towards private schools and fix them.

I've never understood this way of thinking.  Let's say that a company sells a product for $20 and needs to take $5 from each sale to cover their taxes, $10 for production, and another $5 for profit.  Now let's say taxes were cut so they only needed to take $1 from each sale for taxes will they drop the price to $16?  The answer is no they will just take that remaining $4 as extra profit.  Keep in mind that business owners are in business for the sole purpose of making money, they are not going to lower their prices just because their costs drop.

thats assuming a monopoly. if company B is selling a similar product except it costs them $12 for production and they initially have to sell for $22; with a 4$ decrease in taxes, they could lower their prices beneath the first company and the first company would need to lower its prices to see the same kind of profits they had before the lower taxes.

also, even if neither company lowered their prices; where do you think the profit goes to? many companies dont give their shareholders any money, their profits go into improving the company which means better products at lower prices in the future.

No I don't mind if people like sports or books. But then you pay your own money and go to a private organization. Don't force the tax payers to do it. As for books, I only said post modernism. It's idiotic nonsense that prevails in the liberal arts, but fails to respond to criticism from scientific and mathematical circles.

if it is idiotic nonsense that fauls to respond from scientific and mathematical circles, then it should be covered in school inorder to expose it for what it is.

looks like justinian has it in for jocks and intellectuals. smile yes, burn the fields and books so that the only place our children have to go after school is to a gang or 4chan because thats gonna make our future so much brighter.

"The man stabbed the lad several times, without any reason; so no one saw it coming. The lad would have died anyway, he was have been injured too badly to survive before anyone realised what was going on."

since when has being stabbed acouple times eliminate all chances of survival? he would have a great chance of survival considering he was on a bus that could quickly transport him to a hospital and there was probably a first aid kit on the bus for immediate attention. the way you talk, knives are more lethal then guns.

the murderer could of killed several people with the knife... it wasnt his intention though, so even if he had a gun, he would of most likely only killed 1 person.
