Jokes are supposed to be funny. Nobody reads that and thinks it's witty, clever, or humorous.

why? clearly there are false/irrational accusations amongst them, but those can be funny as well,

I thought the first post was rather good. It's fits the category "it's funny cause it's true!" rather well..
You'll argue that it's not true at all, but that's not of importance in this case. It filters reality to fit the joke..

Not at all. When you make a joke, you generalise things to put them into a certain perspective to fit a joke. It's always been done.

2. I don't think you can patent a process. I think objects get a patent, all text including computer programs are copyrighted. I do not agree that it was a joke. If it was intended as a joke, there would presumably be some conventions common to humor among all of that crap... but there aren't. It's bitterness with the "form" of a joke, extending to the "if you..." structure and no further, which does not constitute it actually being a joke. It's the obvious ramblings of ignorant idiots. And anyone who claims otherwise is wrong.
