Topic: i call you out lefties

Only five, well maybe four, people in this forum try to listen and post their intelligence in respectable communication in so far as I can tell.

I see no one from the left acknowledging faults in Global Warming 'science' while I concede good arguments based on science.

I see no posts created by lefties calling for their agendas.

I see no activity beyond criticism really.



So I am calling you OUT!

Get involved in here, choose a lefty agenda and post on it! Or by default admit there is no lefty agenda that can survive criticism.

I also call on you to acknowledge good points, such as my evidence all weather data from the United States is tainted thanks to evidence none can refute from www.surfacestations.org

I call upon you to show yourselves in the front page as topic creators.



It's a sad commentary that 20% of all topics are made by me, and 17% of responses in this forum are in threads I have made.

Personally, I find that, when I create my own threads, it is much more difficult to have people respond to them.  In fact, about a couple months ago, I made a thread that should have had people attacking me from both the left and right, in which I said the US government should have randomly raised taxes at the beginning of the War on Terror.

Total responses?  3 posts, about unrelated issues.


However, if I wait for other people to create posts, and simply respond to them, I know that person will be part of the thread, because it's a subject they're interested in (they created the thread).  Thus, I'm infinitely more likely to have a running debate.

So I can break their hearts, send them home to their moomies crying 'but you said it was a great idea mommy, but he hurt my brain' and possibly convert 5 or 6 to Christianity or Conservatism.

Ive seen you demolished in argument many times (I've done it myself)

Your typical response when your arguments are crushed is to spam the thread with multiple cut and paste posts so the offending post gets hidden; then to spam the forum with multiple new threads in order to make the thread where you get crushed disappear off the page.

It would be generous to call you borderline insane.

You take the example of climate change. Personally I have got bored of discussing it in detail on this forum. It has been discussed and argued so many times here that frankly it has been done before. I know what you will say, I know what I will say and I know neither of us will ever convince the other.

You have an in built filter which manages to selectively ignore credible research while picking out the dodgiest, shakiest articles from terrible web sites which no one has ever heard of. I've never seen you concede a point even faced with the most overwhelming of evidence. I've also seen you display horrendous misunderstandings of scientific principles (not just on climate change). It makes it very difficult to discuss a science subject if the other person does not have a good enough level of science understanding. It makes discussing subjects such as climate change incredibly frustrating.

The number of thread creations has always been less in politics than in other forums and the particularly low number now is due to general activity levels. There aren't enough regular posters to keep it alive. Flint has a high percentage of the number of threads made because (a) activity is low amongst other people and (b) Flint tends to spam and posts multiple threads about essentially the same topic.
