Ok so with little fanfare we introduce a tournament.

The rules are simple, the system is simple, and there is rumor a favorable set of mods may provide a custom tag out of the contest.

There will be an application stage, a 2 losses and your out phase, followed by a run off if need be, and then the semi finals. From the semi finals we will have the last two in a death match.

Each player is to pick 10 topics they are comfortable with and to provide a sentence stance of their views.

The judges will pair people up and choose a topic from either persons list of 10.

In the 2 losses stage each person will write a pro or con of the topic. Expect the judges to assign you a platform OPPOSITE of your typical beliefs.

For this also expect stupid subjects to be outlawed. For instance being anti-racism puts the other guy into supporting racism. Being pro-leaving the stone age makes the other guy argue we should have stayed in the stone age.

In the semi finals there will be a one loss and you are out standard. The posters will each make an opening statement, then a rebuttal of the other persons opening statement. Then a closing post each.

In the finals there will be opening statement, rebuttal, a chance to either further rebut or to add to your argument, another rebutal, and then a closing statement.

The person to post first will be decided randomly as will most matchups. (Some matchups where people ideologically are near clones will be reassigned when plausible)

Example of ten topics, and my formal list:

Republics: the best form of Government in existance.

Capitism: the best fiscal/social system possible

Global Warming/Climate Change: it is not man made

Piracy (software and music): illegal but current punishments are incorrect

Globalism: biblically and logically unsound

Subsidies: stupid, idiotic, a drain on successful to unsuccessful.

Judicial Activism: Judges rule on existing laws and should not create laws

Terrorism: only making them so afraid to do it can we stop it.

Healthcare: public healthcare sucks, so does some as insurance healthcare

Sex education: for highschool only
