Topic: Ideal state of being

I was considering a concept the other day, and the more I think of it the more I realise it may actually be true and quite interesting. Despite this I have decided to post it here and attempt a proper discussion among the plebs that inhabit this forum tongue

The ideal state of both the communist and capitalist economies is the same. I mean by this that the state of being/living that both idealogies aim for is for all intents and perposes the same state of living, even if they get there from different directions. Capitalism allows for the distribution of goods via a free market where resources are traded for labour and other resources through the medium of money (in most cases, though any process to transfer goods and services would work.) Thus in a perfect society all people would be able to use their labour to provide for their needs of resources. I am sure you can see where this goes, giving as to your ability and taking as per your needs, the founding notion of the communist economic model. Thus a perfect capitalist society uses money and the free market to distribute resources according to need, given that a person would only work as they are able to earn enough to provide for their (and families) needs, whilst in a perfect communist society resources are distibuted by the society directly without the need for an intermedity process (money & free maket.) In the communist path the resources have been distributed due the community understanding its own needs via verbal communication and ensures that this would work out.

But what does this mean? It means that both models are correct and flawed and the actual question is not which is right, but which fits better into the world as we know it and which can be modified best to accomadate these flaws in society?

So I put it to you that in theory neither concept is inferior or incorrect, but that both are correct in a perfect world and both in fact provide the same outcome and the failure of one or the other is to do with the flaws inherant in our society and that both are unable to provide the desired outcome due to these flaws, such that neither as stated is the correct answer for our society and that both need to be modified, and that in fact concepts from both need to be used to provide a true answer for our society.
