but to draft someone into your family you have to use vip codes etc, this you don't need them, your not really drafting them your all getting put together.

and last icc, there were 2 random family slots open, which was bs and they got raped as i was in one of them. i just couldn't be bothered to type it out, in a competition you pick best players, not just go with randoms and hope that you happen to get some nice active people. icpg so many went inactive or just screwed with their own family, i have almost given up hope on randoms who will come in and actually be a benefit, i would much rather put faith in players i have played with/against and i know can deliver, and if they screw up, at least you can bitch at them for ages

Many of you are familiar with the ICC.  A competition run earlier with drafted fams and heats to see who is the IC champion.  Right now, we are considering making a 'lite' version of it.  These are the details:

So its described as drafting fams. So im not sure what your point here is tbh, but ICC is described as drafting fams and i was trying to highlight the need for random fams, so its easier to compare that to 'drafting fams' as opposed to the description your giving.

wow, i agree with serenity, never thought i would post it, in a competition random families will suck, one might do well out of so much pure luck that others haven't been grabbed up into families already, my point ice, the random families in the last icc sucked bad and were farms for the families bigger, and that means, who ever was nearest to them had a nice easy farm and that would give them a nice advantage over the others

serenity, pw and icc r competely different. one is knockout competition, one is newbie galaxy.

flashy, ur comparing the round where random and draftred fams were together. so clearly the drafted fams would prosper. Im saying if all fams r randomed it would b better distribution then if all were drafted. If it were drafting, we only gona have afew decent fams and its gona lack competition.

Just like the last 6 man sd which completely sucked, there were like 3 good pre-made fams with all the active ppl in sharing the same timezones etc, the rest of the fams sucked hard.

You make your own team, of WHOEVER you want.  You submit your team to us.  And we place you all together in a fam.

The point is to present the best fam possible you can make - be it with your friends, your enemies (maybe you can form an alliance with your rivals) or bring back old vets for the cause.

Eitehr way - you put forward the best team you can make, and battle it out in a 2 round play off.

I found my team without me in it, instead I'm gonna be a coach!!!!

You're right, i got mixed up, i was thinking ICPG >_<

My bad.  Anyways, it sounds fine to me, I just liked the leader's picking teams in ICPG.  I thought that was a good system.. but this one is fine, just not at all fair.
