Topic: Chris_Balsz was arrested today...

Chris was found with nothing but a flag drapped around him, an NRA headband, a Colt .45, and 100 empty shells.

Another 2000 empty shells were found at the capital, though more are expected to be found.

Chris is quoted as saying "it's just art, freedom of speech and arms at the same time"


The Capital of California is gone, replaced by statues carved out of it by bullets. There is a bald eagle, a soldier with a old thompson machine gun, a 13 colonies US flag, and statues of the signers of the Declaration of the Independece from England.

Feelings were mixed, with some shocked he could do art at all, while some said it was his natural skill with a revolver. Some were critical of his art, with one commenting that some noses or ears were to big or small.

Authorities only are charging him with a noise violation as speech is a protected right. Chris's lawyer plans to fight this charge.

doubt that a standard .45 would be able to fire off 2000 rounds in a short period of time
i seriously doubt that 2000 colt shots could be fired in dc b4 somebody noticed
i really truly seriously doubt that chris would be able to stand after firing 6 shots let alone 2100 hmm

Funny you say that

1.  As a veteran of the US armed forces, Flint probably had to learn to field-strip a rifle while blindfolded.

2.  The main battle rifle of British forces in WW2, the Lee-Enfield .303, is, under US federal law, a "military collectible" that can be bought at a gun show for cash without waiting 3 days for a background check for such things as criminal records or mental health confinement.  In most states it can be carried in a locked container like a toolbox.  Cause a Lee-Enfield Mk 4 is not a scary dangerous assault weapon, see.

As a former ARMORER I would hazard I am one of the most knowledgeable on the topic.
