Believe it or not, I seen an unemployed veteran seeking to get back into service, but was denied.  Why was he denied access to a government program that he was once a proud american to serve?  He had scurvey.  Literally his toes were being eaten up by scurvey.  They told him to get it fixed and then come back some other time to reapply.

He was denied health insurance why?  Pre-existing condition.  If he hadn't had scurvey they would have provided for him.  But since he had scurvey, he would not be covered.

So you have to be a healthy sonofabitch before you get sick to get health coverage?  That's a big load of garbage.

Why didn't he already have insurance?

I was unemployed after leaving the service, for six months.  My Veterans Affair officer kept on telling me, "oh no we'll find you a GOOD job".  Literally those words every time I brought him a paper showing a job opening at this place or that place.  No one would hire me, and one place outright wouldn't hire me because I was a "male, and that it's been proven that women handle this job better then men."  That was as a radio responder for emergencies.

I eventually ended up back at my original job before i joined the army, when my unemployment benefits ran out, and couldn't receive an extension.   And according to them, I was being payed to much unemployment benefits and they might have to take action to recoup the money back from me.  I ended back washing dishes.  Couple weeks later I was promoted to Line cook.

Most VA officers are lazy, and do nothing accept LOOK busy as if they were trying to help find jobs for former military service personal.  But when your in the service, you got one hell of a health benefit.  When your out of the service...you got nothing except what's in your bank account.

Actually tommie youre incorrect. You would be covered by SSD. I know some people with similar conditions.

Also there is 35 States with ballot initiatives for the primaries or the 2010 general election challenging the ObamaScareCare. I expect 30 to pass their bills.

well with diabetes again as example: it's different for everybody. some ppl can tolerate more then others. I for instance had a blood sugar level of 970 mg/dl. on average person has a value between 70 and 120. 970 is more like a number of either you faint every 5 minutes or you're in a coma.

I on the other hand only felt a little bit tired and only reason they found out was because I was losing weight fast and drank like 5 liters of water a day.

sure I could go blind, I could end up in hospital. but I haven't so far. I can go without the meds for a while longer.

so basicly as long as you got ppl that are "stupid" enough to neglect their basic needs just for a bit of luxury you need some way of protecting those ppl. we're no longer living in the survival of the fittest times. we're living in a time of: everybody deserves a chance. and I think that should go to for a country that used to have/has the title: country of the free.

my father died of a heartdisease, my grandfather had altzheimer. ooh boy I'm a walking disaster too happen.

all bogus reasons off course, and certainly for a company that deserves social services but hell I can guarantee you they'll do anything to not have to take the risk of paying my insuline and any medications/doctor/ surgery I might later need.

I like that word legit.  Maybe the reform should focus on weeding out the not legit.  Might help things.

you said you use a box of 5 caplets every 20 days, and they're 53 euro each.
If each box is 53 euro that's 953 euro a year for your meds.
if each caplet is 53 euro that's 4470 euro a year for your meds.
Which is it? And why can't you earn enough for those meds?

Geeze, some poor people in america have codene, oxycotin, marijuana, and cocaine.  I'm pretty sure they can't afford health care.  Why have health care when you can spend all your money on beer and morphine.

Now now, don't you know wearing condoms kills millions of sperm, including the one sperm that holds the soul of a new entity that can't be born.  That's murdering a spirit that hasn't even entered into a newborn body or fetus!  That's against the catholic church! Arn't you catholic?!
