An atmosphere of both excitement and fear is rather apparent surrounding his victory as London's Mayor, unsurprisingling, considering his shameless, caprious, rollercoaster tendencies, despite his wit and intelligence. Ah, well, even if he screws up monumentally, it'll be pure theatre, and I can't see how a single Englishperson wouldn't have the heart to forgive old Boris. All I can say is, I'm very much in anticipation of what'll happen.

And how Christian Choice even thought they stood a chance in being at the helm of London, the most metropolitan city in the EU, I have no idea...

I will be living in London next year and to be honest, I find it pretty embarrassing that Boris will be mayor =/.

the benefit of bad local government is that most of the crucial decisions are taken at a central level anyway, at best the man can wreck the city's finances in which case you can still turn the city over to accountants afterwards or beg for allowances from the central government smile

The only moonbats possibly more embarassing for London than that moonbat pinko Livingstone are members of the Royal Family and presumably inelegible. He was a world-class ass and an example frequently cited by big-city American mayors to make them look tolerable by comparison.

Mr livingstone has promised to have "a great big bloody drink" and I support him in that decision
