i spent 2 semesters at a campus in the south side of chicago... the worst part of chicago... its a pretty nice city, i dont see what you're bitching about...   i never saw an excess of trash, Chicago drivers werent anything bad, i didnt see an excess of razor wire, or any prostitutes... despite the college campus being in the south-side of chicago, it boasted being the safest college campus in the midwest...  i dont know maybe its gotten worse in the several years its been since i've been there, or maybe einstein is seeing things that he wants to see and not things that actually exist...

Chicago is  Awesome ive lived here for 12 years. The best City ever. It is pretty clean downtown, i dont know what you are smoking. It has a very large variety of schools and museums. The architecture is beautiful, if your on a truck stop no wonder you have not seen anything. If you go downtown the amount of different culturals restaurants is great. You have to have deep dish chicago pizza or portillos when you are here. You wont find food like that anywhere else.

I came in from the south side, went to the North Side, via Interstate. In the North side I went up 20 blocks (under your rail bridge thingy, freaky turning right in there with a semi), then turned around and had to drive to the east side (50 blocks) to the truck stock, a Connoco. I returned via different route (TomTom does it again! X( ) and then I drove out of there to the east side via an easier route I fortunately found after driving south for 18 blocks (Not repeating the first drive again I told myself!)

I went through a LOT of your miserable city.

I saw the most miserable city there can exist in the United States short of Detroit (Which I have had the pleasure of not going into yet.. I think we stopped delivering there after a makeshift bomb was thrown under the tires of a truck hauling meat in an effort to steal the cargo... The driver drove on his rims successfully away though... I do not blame him for not stopping despite severe damage, lol)

your judgement is based on sitting in a  car and driving. its like me saying wow this restaurant has terrible food, but ive never eaten there. It just look like it would have terrible food.
And i know where you drove that area is pretty crappy the whole downtown is surrounded by like the crap shoot. and then it gets really nice as you go in to the city or farther suburbs

I drive a semi truck, not some car. I get a REALLY good view from up high. That city sucks. I swear, 500 people crossed immediately in front, or behind, my semi truck when there was no way it was not jaywalking.

And I SAW THE TRASH. OMG I SAW SO MUCH! No city I have seen so far has even 5% of your trash!

MY second stop was Ithaca. It is very nice indeed. But it is not Chicago. Chicago is a different city. Chicago sucks.
