4 years of taxes with no benefits.

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

I thinking of starting a company called "The greenest green dual solar/wind LTD."

I expect the next stimulus could get me a billion dollars or so with that name.

lets hope it gets passed.

Americans clearly are retards (see einstein) and retards shouldn't be part of making big calls.

Retards should just sit in the corners and drool!

Use of the word "reform" here is inaccurate and misleading.

Nobody with an education supports this legislation. Yes, I said it.

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

they'll probably just convict us of a felony (tax evasion), fine, sentence suspended

so we lose our vote and owe money and don't get to go to jail

but if they feel they have to amnesty 12 000 000 illegal aliens because they can't process them, how the hell are they gonna avoid amnesty to us?

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

Let's hope it passes.
I really don't understand what the whole fuss is about. If our government would provide a system that can cut me off from medical care when needed, there'd be riots. Apparently, the opposite is true in America. I can not think of anything less logical.

And the whole fuss about abortion refunding is just silly. I thought America embraced the idea of separation between state and religion...

About autocensoring words: how lame, we didn't do that in our time! What else is there to make fmodding fun?

God: Behold ye angels, I have created the ass.. Throughout the ages to come men and women shall grab hold of these and shout my name...

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

Maybe you shouldn't buy insurance from thugs and provide evidence so that those who break their contracts and deny covered medical work go out of business and to prison? What you describe as the great failure of American healthcare is already illegal. This legislation doesn't change that. You're just making up a reason, and pretending it (being ficticious) is justification. Plenty of insurers provide real medical care. They do it better than any government in the world does.

Let's hope it passes? Government is even worse, not better. Nobody envies any European or Canadian medical options over those of the US.

Separation of state from religion does not stop the state from passing laws on ethical grounds. If you're comfortable with putting needles in children's heads during birth in order to inject poison and "abort" the pregnancy, that's cool. But I'm not going to vote in support of the practice. Also, you're disgusting.

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

what does the fuss about abortion refunding have to do with separation of church and state?

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

yep... stealing cant be against the law either, because religions are against stealing... it would be a violation of the separation between church and state...

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

"what does the fuss about abortion refunding have to do with separation of church and state?"

Most, if not all opinions about wether a foetus is a living being or not is inspired on religion.

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

I would consult biology.

Lets see, heart beat, consumes food, ejects fecal matter... seems it is a living being to me.

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

"Most, if not all opinions about wether a foetus is a living being or not is inspired on religion."

no... not at all... a fetus fits every scientific attempt to create a criteria for life... and just about every religious opinion about whether the fetus is living or not is based off of science...

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

religious leaders werent like "hmmm, we need to make religion a little harder to follow" so all religious leaders came together and decided that abortion would be a sin. and thats why religious people think abortion is a sin.  do you honestly think that?

what happends is people ask the religious leader if its ok to have an abortion, and the religious person says "hmmm, what do we know of abortion?" he then looks at what science knows of it and base their decision off of science...

You see to be confusing a "living being" with "life". For that matter, it doesn't even need to have a cardiovascular system..
SLAM FAIL!
The consequence of this is immense in this matter. In my opinion the embryo's rights don't outweigh the mother's rights. It's little or no different of an animal embryo till after a number of weeks, is it a human being then? No, only when you want it to be one.

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

WFS,

A fetus is a human being. It has a human genotype that is developing according to those instructions. Any other definition of human is going to be arbitrary.

That said, it doesn't matter. It isn't necessarily murder to terminate their lives. Murder is always something in the eyes of the state. And there are practical reasons to control population growth in risky populations, like to mothers who can't afford having children.

And quit with this rights stuff. The only thing any one has ever had is privileges granted to them by the state.

I also do not see a problem with universal health care. Some European countries have very efficient systems, and the complaints about long lines in the US etc are pure propaganda. However, while the US is in need of health care reform, this bill is just not satisfactory for me. It still satisfies the greedy insurance and pharmaceutical companies who deserve to be broken up.

Re: U.S on the Verge of Healthcare Reform

The greedy pharmaceutical companies signed a deal with Obama. No change for them.

The so called greedy insurance companies make a meager 4% in profits. Show me how they can really do anything Justinian, to qualify as greedy then. Oh and before you say 'they increase prices nonstop' how about you look at your State mandates on them. Like the State where Sex Changes (Called reassignments) are forced to be covered by insurance policies. Or how about Breast Enhancements of another. Viagra is covered, and it is the most abused medicine out there, by people who heard it can extend the length of their hard-on by a hour.

Then there is the parties for Gays in San Fransisco. Lots of good medical care that is... and yet it is mandated.

In the current bill there is mandates to make after school activities for foster children.

Oh and bike paths, walkways, and similar stuff also.... nice medical care that, but it is MANDATED in costs!

How can insurance be to blame for politicians who see them merely as another slush fund?
