You know Obama made a lot of promises when he was running for office.

You might be surprised with how many he has kept...


Gitmo is still open

Lobbyists fill the White House

CSpan the health care debates... broken

No Bid contracts are still being given out

5 days of public comment before signing bills... never happened

He wont recognize the Armenian Genocide, unlike his campaign promise...

Troops will remain in Iraq, just no 'infantry or tank drivers'. (This means more casualties by the way, the inexperienced called to fight, lol)

He has not enforced Pay-Go rules

No reading line by line and identifying waste


I could go extensively on and on... but I think it is quicker to say "What promises has he kept?" instead of "What promises has he broke?"

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

the irony being that in a country like ours, someone is always there to oppose you. Thus, I say just declare dictatorship and do what you will.

Hey, he would have kept all his promises, but you had members of congress saying that they're not going to pass certain laws.  And you got Obamma telling congress either get your crap together or the next law they try to pass will get vetoe'd.  Obamma can play hardball too you know.  And if your going to put the blame about someone not working together to get Obamma's promises done, blame congress, where the true blame should now reside.

Yah what would McCain have done during the housing crisis?  Would he have done the same thing?  Maybe he would have.  But McCain lost so tongue thpppppt.  Good thing too.  Palin has already put her foot in her mouth enough times it would have been interesting to see who'd she piss off first.

our politics are full of career politicians..... who are corrupt..... so no serious change will take place unless some kind of a big economic disaster happens or a huge political movement......

plus obama is in polittics to make friends it seems and not to pass good bills, or play hardball.
