Topic: Did you read any of the healthcare bills?

I did, I read two of them actually. The House bill and the Senate bill.

I am just curious, so many so called smart people here, who actually read it? Or can say they read a fairly significant portion?


I am especially wondering, did you find something objectionable if you did read it? I found a LOT... but I wont post any just yet...

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

I read some of it but harry reids MO is to make last minute verbal changes and then have the senate vote on an unwritten draft, so, why bother? Like pelosi said, if they don't pass it you'll never know what's in it

Are you running for office this year Chris? You might be able to double your salary and not just look up laws, but actually make them tongue

This is California, I'm just keeping my head afloat and not joining the 1 in 6 who have no income...when the Depression lifts I think I'll move to Indiana or Texas or Idaho or somewheres SANE

I helped write some belgian healthcare bills actually in my previous job. Dissapointing; you have to cram political originated opportunistic flavour of the day crap into a good system and it only messes the good system up for the future.

Please call it US healthcare bills too for clarity. They're not valid over the world you know.

I am thinking if I can find a liberal city in a Conservative State, I can run for office there, and help clean the taint from an otherwise great state...

I just say make me president, I'll declare martial law, turn into a dictator and then things will be alright. All I care about it making sure things get done MY WAY. If you have a problem, I will try to help. If I can't then oh well, I'll pass the information on to someone who can. I know my limits. I'm not about to climb a DAMN TREE to rescue a cat. Hell, that's what we have Einstein for, or Shaq!
