I'm a bit arrogant in person as well, but thats simply because I'm confident. I have to be for my line of work... handling a billion dollars or more worth of equipment on a daily basis and ensuring the safety of more lives in a week than a doctor will his entire life, easily.

have to protect your heavy industrie and metallurgie for decades now

sure if you go compare america too 3rd world countries yes then america is doing well economically but that's like pitching a heavy weight boxer against a lightweight and say he's doing good. of course he is


compare usa to europe and perhaps even china and also japan and you see that economically you're doing actually quite bad.

The US can feed itself quite fine. You just need to have a job if you expect food, or throw away your pride and go get food stamps/abuse the system and you will be living decent.

Homeless people/Poverty people have only themselves to blame. There are programs out there to give them cell phones for free... just have to not be a total lazy bum and waste on society to apply...

You know this was a popular view of the upper class in Russia in the early 20th century...now how'd that turn out again.  These people don't need cell phones though they need the basic necessities; food, water, clothing, shelter.  If these are provided they can then direct their energies into improving their lot in life.  It's really not that hard to understand if you're struggling to just cover the essentials you're never going to improve your life.  If you gave homeless people a place to stay, food to eat, access to some basic grooming (shower, toothbrush, comb, razer), and a bus pass most people would not be homeless very long.

turns out that isnt true, they just suck up the goodies and stay homeless.  most homeless have substance abuse or mental health issues.

the US's economy is so tough that you have to compare it to the combined economies of 40 odd first world countries inorder for it to not look quite as good...

A thought just occured that if the US did surrender it's independence to the Brits, the Brits would take on all of their debt, they revolt again and start fresh debt free.  On top of that they'd get 2 new holidays out of it "Redependence Day" and "Independence Day 2"

The EU combined barely has a GDP larger than the USA, the EU's military combined is smaller than the USA's.

In terms of international debt at the moment the USA is totally humped as about 95% of its debt is owed to China tongue
