FEBRUARY 18--The man suspected of intentionally crashing an airplane into a Texas office building today appears to have posted a lengthy online diatribe attacking the Internal Revenue Service and declaring that, "I know I'm hardly the first one to decide I have had all I can stand." The manifesto, which you'll find below, is dated "2/18/10" and is signed "Joe Stack (1956-2010)."
Andrew Joseph Stack, 53, has been identified as the man who flew a small plane into an Austin building housing IRS offices. The statement was uploaded to the front page of a web site that was registered in 2003 by a Joe Stack.

Re: angry dude vs IRS ?

I saw that a plane had flown into a building this morning on the news. I guess they've decided it was an intentional attack?

Rehabilitated IC developer

Re: angry dude vs IRS ?

Re: angry dude vs IRS ?

You can't judge a person over one mistake! ...Maybe he had the debt money in his plane.

Re: angry dude vs IRS ?

It's in all the papers and on msn.com

The man torched his own home, purposely drove to the airfield, got in HIS plane and smashed it into a government building that housed the local tax offices of the IRS.

Is it just me, or are texans just plain crazy when it comes to guns, succeding from the union, and going around killing government workers?

Re: angry dude vs IRS ?

I call for the Andrew Joseph Stack Memorial Act!

When an individual owes the IRS in excess of $10,000, the IRS shall determine whether that debtor owns a civilian aircraft, and shall seize that aircraft for sale at auction to satisfy the debt.

Re: angry dude vs IRS ?

You're all acting as if he's the first moron ever in the U.S.

I'm quite sure you're filled with 'm. Just most aren't retarded enough (yet) to fly a plane into a building.

This forum is stupid.

Re: angry dude vs IRS ?

We have al-quida to do that.  And they don't need help from any pissed off texans that own planes.  His daughter from his first marriage, living in europe, said that she did not agree with her fathers actions.  Though she did state he was a hero for taking a stand against the IRS.  How does killing innocent workers who did NOT write the tax laws, turn a person into a hero?  I'm sure he'll receive a hero's burial from thousands of texans.  But seriously he did kill someone when he rammed the building.  And the person he did kill was considered a hero who served in vietnam.  And no one will remember the worker who was killed.

That's just wrong.

Re: angry dude vs IRS ?

yeah I'm pissed we hear nothing about the victim. He killed a Nam vet? What a douche.

there's a radio station in town that was taking the same crapola stand "hero but condemn his act" not calling him a murderer, and some guy called in with $200,000 in tax debt and called him a crybaby quitter. Awesome.

Re: angry dude vs IRS ?

lol, zomg, i havent followed up upon this, but someone did die hmm dang hmm
that turns it from a funny stupid suicidal into a stupid thing with casualties hmm

if people are going to call him a hero...imagine what others are going to do "to take a stand against the IRS" , blegh smile
and they prolly not take him seriously, so that tax laws might get reviewed or smt, seem slike his exit didnt get anyone something

till the end of time..

Re: angry dude vs IRS ?

whatever the tax laws are, this guy was an ass
I read his "brilliant" manifesto

he decided the "big guys" cheat on their taxes so he went ahead and claimed exemptions for his business as if he were the Catholic Church

and he got nailed

then he or his exwife didn't give their CPA income docs and he was SHOCKED SHOCKED SHOCKED that the IRS didn't trust a proved tax cheat
