problem with having such large space is that no other fams are clearing the cores for you. by saying that i mean they cant clear the whole sector by themselves. usually fams around you clear their cores and give you a core agreement or something. This means in joint you are technically both working together to clean cores and to secure your own cores.

So large space doesnt necessarily mean clear sailing, in fact id say its worse. lol. But then again people will argue. It also means with so many people looking to spread to those areas that there would most likely be more fams in there than any other sector. This will lead to large amounts of fighting all throughout that sector for dominance and position with those 2 fams being in the middle. They will most likely suffer the most from it.

They will most likely be able to create a fairly safe and large core, but wont be able to have much spread, which will mean they will be big for first half of the round but as it gets further to the end they wont be gaining much planet wise and then will fall down the rankings to around 4-6 or so.

But thats just my opinion on the idea
