Thank you, this reminds me why I left this game. Why all the hate? This is suppsoed to be a game you play for fun.

vacation mode should only be used when you go away for some time. I dont agree to using vmode as "tactical move". Bit cowardly

There's just a difference in saying you don't agree in a civilised way, and calling some "a loser" and  "a [moo'ing] vmode whore". I mean, it's a game after all... hmm
Cowardly is acceptable tongue I don't agree with that, but if that's how you think about, ok.

That being said, I have exams atm too, so in a way hitting vmode reliefs some stress as I don't have to worry bout getting massed or estormed.

vmode was the perfect tactical move to make, if it's ethic ? dont know, but a lot of worst things were made in IC.

2 days ago after a big struggle to portal in 3 systems from a bottomfeed the guy there deleted, and I lost 35 easy planets... it happens. its hard. its IC
cant blame him, he knowed that he was being crushed and deleted and joined MW. Smart guy.

So 25 and 26 you cant blame polder from being smart, unless you are dumb. Btw 22 is clearly winning alone, but can they keep up the pace ?

He did also say that he had exams and by going into Vmode that it was helping with the stress...so in a sense he is on vacation...just not the vacation you are referring to...

Polder is rewriting the guide


  Enter vacation mode (Polder Mode)

If you (are going to be a burden to your family) for some time and don't want your (population) to (be killed by your enemy) when  (a war starts), you can go into (Polder mode). In   (Polder mode) you can't get  (hypno and electrified), but you (can't login except to write in the forums) and also won't (lose) any money and research points (cause your pop is dead). Buildings and Units under construction will still finish, but the nw won't update. You go instantly into (Polder Mode), if you don't have attacked or done hostile specops during the past 24h. The minimum time of (Polder Mode) is (during part of the war or probably during a big part of the war). You can't go into Polder during the first 24h after the account got created and during the last 2 weeks of a round.
