Torqez, I am saying that the last round of Cap was a stay in family round, and that each family's home system would reshuffle at the EOF.  With that being said, alliances should naturally be reconsidered each round.  Distant and non-symbiotic system alliances could not out match the # 1 family that formed around mutural home systems.  We had eachothers backs.

And now, the break-up.  They have retired Capricorn after the 8th season and in the mist of my family's prime.  Everyone randomed into an active family and deletions were kept to a minimum.  Starting a new galaxy starts the deletion process all over again.
