Recent events made the soldiers on the base very uncomfortable. Some of them even walked the hallways looking over their shoulders expecting someone to jump them from behind every corner they turned. All they could do for now was vote for who they thought was guilty and to get this over with as soon as possible. Unfortunately that was not as easy as it sounded as everyone seemed to think otherwise about who would be guilty. The heated battle between KT, Deci and Glue reached it's boiling point at a very late stage and it was Deci who drew the shortest straw. Yes, he is guilty the majority had decided.

Deci looked around and decided to run for it. "I AM A GERMAN" he yelled as he sped towards the one the emergency doors located on the edges of the court yard. One of the soldiers had grabbed his luger already and was aiming carefully at the running lynchee. He had the shot to take him out, but doubt filled his mind for a moment as he had truly troubles believing that Deci would be an undercover American. Deci.. the biggest racist around here.

Deci looked back one more time and shouted something to the soldier holding the luger. The soldier could not hear what he said, but those who had heard, told him later on that he just couldn't end up like those Jews and Negro's he so much despised.

* BANG *

A thorough search of his clothes and room resulted it nothing that could incriminate him. It seemed that Deci was just a German and nothing else.

The port of Cherbourg

Lieutenant General Karl-Wilhelm von Schlieben knew he could not hold for much longer. The German commander had been instructed to wreck and mine the port of Cherbourg, as to delay the advance of the allied forces. The General had rejected a summons to surrender and began carrying out demolitions to deny the port to the Allies. Remnants of his own Division, the 709th Infantry Division, would be in charge of this task, along with local troops which included the members of the Intelligence Command Office.

That evening, several members from the Intelligence Office were assigned to help in the wrecking of the port, and some within them had different tasks in mind: knowing full well the port would be a gateway to mainland France, the Special Allied Forces members within the group sought out to delay the trashing of the port for as long as possible. However, they were not alone.

SS-Obersturmbannfuhrer Maarten looked at these events with growing concern. The Gestapo officer knew Cherbourg was crucial in defending occupied France, and he knew the allies would do anything in their power to disrupt the city
