Topic: killing off newbies

I was recently involved in a conversation in chat where a newbi to IC was wondering where his account was.

After investigation from a MOD, KT found that he was killed off by his family.

Now the new IC member seemed very active only a complete noob.

It is a complete act of dispespect from experienced members of IC to kill off an active newbi.

There is soo much BS about people leaving IC and moaning and this really tops it off.

When a new member joins the IC community experienced players should try and help them wherever possible not kill them off because there new.

This im sure will only apply to a few people but Cloud if you feel like killing off another new player please think again.

I would love a newbie in my fam if hes active.

Those guys are willing to learn most of the time and so they will do good if they follow advise...

This will be his first round ever winning. Luckily he got good randoms carrying him, though killing off an active player is pretty terrible.

maybe in regards to newbs when they random into families mods should have more discretion in maybe altering their races so that they fit the needs of the family

That is already offered King. The sticky in Uni News has all the info: Delete Resets and Race Changes

Im sure cloud and king didnt tell the guy to change race or even try to work with him at all. Theyre both rude and ignorant players.

KT: I though this offer was time limited - as in the first 24 hours when one joins the family

I don't know what happened with the situation - all I'm trying to say that in regards to newbies - they should be given preferential treatment!

But yea, the offer is for everyone, within 48 hrs of joining a new fam.  Plenty of time to get versed with what roles required of the fam, and for the fam to teach the new joiner what he can do to help and what role may suit him.

You all need to lighten up and remember how much of a social game this is.

The whole "win win win" attitude is killing this game off.
