Topic: Middle (Midox) - 3048 vs 3058 + 3045 & 3043

Hopefully you read this at some point.

You left me no choice in my actions this round and I'm sorry that it made you delete.

The very first message you sent me at the beginning of the round was like spitting in my face and calling me an idiot. Your proposal to split the sector 4 ticks from my homesystem (and 8 ticks from yours) was the entire cause of my opposition towards you. And to be honest I was literally going to let you keep the planets you took from me in 18,17 and west of that. But then you sent me that message and the following tick took what 3? planets in 20,17? What was I supposed to do? Keep my mouth closed and let you share my core? -- And after you brought in Dreamland to defend you after you couldn't handle me all by yourself I gave up on negotiations. Dreamland is the cause of his own downfall though. I told him that he didn't want me bringing in my allies yet he replies by telling me "Go ahead if you think it'll help you" - another slap in the face. So I did, and my allies destroyed dreamland and I guess I destroyed you.

This is a good example of "being able to back up what you say."
Don't jump into somebodies core and hope they'll let you stay after attacking 3-5 of their planets.

Its ok, I've been quite busy and figured the best offensive was to not let you have the planets smile

I'm always a nice guy and am happy to talk about something, but ignoring messages completely is not exactly a way to come to an agreement.  It was not a spit in your face, but an honest offer to which you never responded.

I happened to be SS in an inactive family with no attackers (at least that played), so played on non-ICPG ticks just for fun.  It is always difficult to play against several families that are significantly larger, more active, and economic advantages, not to mention attacking races.  Oh well, was fun while it lasted. Enjoy the rest of your round, even though this is the first you had ever bothered to communicate.

Lol Middle you made me beyond angry with that first message. I wouldn't have been polite talking to you so I chose not to.
And besides, every message you sent me was in-my-face. A little too cocky for me so I chose to stay silent. I didn't want peace until I knew you were at least 15 ticks from any of my families core, I wanted to come out ahead at some point before I spoke up tongue


And sure that was an honest offer but was it a fair offer?

I'm a very nice guy too but I have a hugeeee vengeful side also lol. And I hate being underestimated big_smile

I have to say though, you were the most painfully annoying person my entire round lol, maybe ever xD Every planet I took from you you retook almost immediately. So I did what any sensible lone-attacker in a small family with plenty of income would do, hijack your core and destroy your ability to grow lol.

Nonetheless, you made the round more fun midox, annoying as hell but a lot more fun than exploring a billion planets and waiting for eor tongue

Better to make you all work for it I guess tongue.  Its really down to just 2 alliances now.

Hopefully in a future round we will all have better luck with decent randoms.

heh and for the record dreamland sucks. talkin all kind of smack on me but did nothing while i took 100+ planets from him family
